I couldn’t WAIT to get out of bed this morning. VLCD1 is FINALLY here!
After loading for two days, I felt very uncomfortable last night. My stomach was bloated, my fingers felt like sausages (too much sodium) and my body just felt plain ol polluted.
I gained 5.8lbs while pre-loading last weekend and loading Monday and Tuesday. That makes me 5.8lbs above Round 2 LIW. Hoping to have these loading pounds gone by Sunday so that I can start working on the real fat next
Round 3 / Loading Day #2
I PRE-loaded on a camping/kayaking/hiking trip last weekend + Loading Day #1 = 6lbs gain..oh my. I still have one day (today) left of loading to go. Normally, I only gain 5lbs while loading, so this is pretty crazy. Pre-loading is not part of protocol, but it was fun none-the-less!
But no need to worry, I am confident that these new lbs will come off in the first 4-5vlcds. So AWESOME knowing that I can lose weight! My whole life, the idea
I’m back!
Loved the two months of P4 and kept to my LIW -45lbs, swinging within 4lbs of that #, but always returning back to -45. It helped that I stayed clear of starches and sugars. I COULD have enjoyed them, but I found that I could eat MORE and NOT gain, when I avoided them. Weighing every day was also very important.

I was just too excited for P3.
Friday, Hubby and I met friends for dinner and I had 1…2…3 glasses of Chardonnay and was punished dearly for it on Saturday morning (HEADACH!). In a funk, I indulged in some Babybel cheese and some sugar-free chocolate…much more than I should have.
To repent, I cleaned the house, no let me rephrase, I SCRUBBED the house! Right down to bleaching the

Funny love affair with P3
Here I sit at my desk full of WAY too much energy for 8am in the morning (thanks to the caffeine in my Friday n/f latte) daydreaming of P3 that I start on Saturday night.
To celebrate, we are having a dinner party Saturday, serving our favorite kebabs (Pakistani spicy grilled burger patties), that I serve with a Persian mint serrano yogurt sauce + brown jasmine rice for the carb-friendly, complete
