Congrats on the new job, Molly! You know, I suspect you are VERY insulin resistant. The next time you get blood work, get your A1c done. Since I started doing the leptin reset, my weight doesn't fluctuate at all. Not even a few ounces. That huge dollop of protein first thing in the morning seems to keep my blood sugar stable all day long. You might check it out and try it. it would help with those weight gains when you eat carbs.
Hey does anyone know for sure whether we are to go with ounces or calories. For example, my drops say 3.5 ounces of vegetable and 3.5 ounces of meat, etc. But if you cannot get to 500 calories can you increase the oz to get there?
I don't know what's correct but I have always went with ounces. I never really count calories in p2. PandI never mentioned how much ur veggies should weigh. I would increase those to get to 500 if your concerned about the calories.
You could be insulin resistant but isn't yours mostly when you eat gluten?

Friday or Saturday is my long run day, with the next day being a short light recovery run.
Honestly, one of the best workout regimens I've ever done is the
Hi all! Not getting updates so when I check in and see all the activity I spend tons of time catching up! LOL!
Firstly, I have to say, Colleen I have sent up prayers for your friend and her family. I have personal experience with Cancer Treatment Centers of America with my Dad and they rock. MD Anderson (the big guns) in Houston told my Dad to basically "go home and die" there was nothing they could do for him. I begged him to get a 2nd opinion and he went to the CTCA
