I did my first two weeks out of a vial of powdered HCG and did fantastic. I was taking 200iu.
4 days ago I mixed a new vial and it is premixed liquid. I have done 3 days of shots (today would be the 4th) and am hungry. I wasn't hungry at all before mixing this new vial. I also haven't lost at all since using this new vial.
Do I need to lower my dose to 175iu? Is my HCG no good? This batch is a different name brand and from a different place. I am apprehensive to drop the dose because it worked so good the first two weeks - no hunger at all.
I also don't really understand the science behind "too high of a dose of HCG" causing hunger if anyone can help with that . . .
I was in the same situation. I adjusted my dose on injection #4. Not sure if this is true, Grammy can answer better, but I thought it was actually too soon for me to skip a day so, I just injected 125iu for 1 day and then went to my adjusted dose of 150iu after that. It was an injection so I wasn't skipping a day but a lower dose to help offset the high dose I had been taking.
You can skip a day after 3 days on according to pounds and Inches. :-)
Patients who require more than the minimum of 23 injections and who therefore skip one day a week in order to postpone immunity to HCG cannot have their third injections on the day before the interval. Thus if it is decided to skip Sundays, the treatment can be started on any day of the week except Thursdays. Supposing they start on Thursday, they will have their third injection on Saturday, which is also the day on which they start their 500 Calorie diet. They would then base no injection on the second day of dieting, this exposes them to an unnecessary hardship, as without the injection they will feel particularly hungry. Of course, the difficulty can be overcome by exceptionally injecting them on the first Sunday. If this day falls between the first and second or between the second and third injection, we usually prefer to give the patient the extra day of forced feeding, which the majority rapturously enjoy.
