Well I stopped the hormones while on the HCG because they are mixed with oils and I read that while on HCG it would possibly be a problem going to see my doctor next week. I feel fine now >>>>but do not want to experience menopause that is for sure. Thank you ladies very much for your advise and help

I kept taking mine, oils and all. They are too important for me to miss!

    Grammy,
So you didn't stop taking your hormones during the diet? My doctor told me to stop taking my bio-identical estrogen only, (i take both progest/estrogen) when I'm taking the hcg injections. I have experienced such terrible hot flashes, I really do not want to go off on my next round.

For lots of us, the negative effects of the small amount of cream in the Bio-Ident hormones is not enough to risk being without them.

i actually tried it both ways, since it's generally mixed with olive oil in a cream. did one round with it that way, and another round with it mixed without an oil (which the consistency was not good)- didn't change my losses one bit.

Well I didnt take mine during the hcg but I am getting my shots again later than usual I plan to do a second round and will continue with my hormone therapy. I read on it and I am not willing to go through the side effects of no hormones. I feel fine now. But probably because of the HCG ?? dont know. IN july I start my load fourth of july weekend perfect timing too...I get to pig out during my get away weekend. thanks ladies

I took them through all of my 4 rounds so far. I would NOT give them up for anything. I was okay with slower losses if that's what happened but I am never giving them up. And I still lost just fine. :-)

I continued on my hormones as well. However, I had no choice since I don't take the oral form, but in pellets. My dr. didn't think it would effect my losses. It didn't seem to. Since starting the bioidentical hormones I have so much more energy and just a wonderful sense of well being. I'm for sure not giving them up!!!!!
    Definitely not worth it.

I start my next round of injections on 5/31 and given the great information you all have provided, I will stay on my bio-identical estrogen and progesterone!
