Just curious what you all are doing for exercise, if anything.
My plan was to do Yoga thru P2, but all the "downward dogs" make me a little dizzy. Anxious to get back on the treadmill, but also want to ride the benefit of HCG without exercising - then, kick it up gradually after VLCD.
Alternate days of elliptical machine - but moderately - 30 min. Other days: yoga -- still moderate and maybe 10 min of weights-- I'm really efficient tho. I'll continue with this thru P3 to maintain -- then kick it back up.
Interesting. So you've been able to do the elliptical without dizziness or fatique? You must be ubber fit, or I must be ubber unfit lol!
I was a marathoner in my "fit life", but haven't pounded a trail in a couple years and had only been brisk 5k-10k walking prior to vlcd. Gauging my energy level at the moment (p2d5), I don't know if I'd have the oomph to get thru even a 5k walk.
Well I prefer am so it's just with/after coffee. Give yourself a few days - you're only on day 5. But- you shouldn't be dizzy & might need to adjust your dose.
I workout at least 3time a week at gym and I'm doing ok. The elliptical was kind of hard for me cause I was dizzie first week but now I just started my 3rd week and I'm doing great with it. The dizziness is gone but i also switched to afternoon because the eating nothing in morning and working out sucked for me:) I go around 5 and eat dinner by 7 they say you burn more cals if you workout then eat dont know how true that is.
On P2, I mostly stuck with pilates and yoga. I would do a power walk from time to time to relieve stress. I found that cardio made me not feel so well. I think it was mostly a mental thing because I do a lot of cardio workouts and usually eat right after... given the 500 calorie diet, I never felt like I could eat enough to compensate. Now that I am in P3, I'm back to my regular step, jogging and spinning routine.
I do a bike ride around the block once and then do a little Yoga. The bike ride only takes about five min, and then only about 15-20 min of yoga. On days that I don't bike, I power walk the block about 4-5 times. First few days I was a little dizzy but, i kept it up, and am feeling good.
