    Well, hubby had success with his steak day yesterday...was down 2.6 lbs. this morning, so is now .7lbs. below LDD. But, I'm up 2.3 lbs. over LDD....still no BM this morning...feeling beyond bloated...we did the laxative tea, the natural calm, and a big stool softener last night, and nothing....just major bloating....this is going on 3 days now with no BM. So, guess it's a steak day for me! Feeling very down and frustrated....probably shouldn't be, but this isn't what I "envisioned" for the start of P3, just days in and all these problems, which feel like failures... :( . Hopefully this works, and we can get on the right track here!!

    I'm with you - I've had a rough start to P3, some of which must be due to the fact I've had no BM since Friday - that was 5 days ago! And only then because I took Magnesium Citrate and Smooth Move tea. I do not want to become dependent on using laxatives to go so I haven't used anything since - I am waiting to see what happens. But 5 days and nothing is ridiculous. No urge to go or anything. The situation was similar in P2 but at least then I wasn't eating very much! I've never had issues with irregularity prior to the HCG diet. I have actually ordered the powdered Natural Calm magnesium powder but it hasn't arrived yet.

    I did a steak day yesterday and lost 2 pounds. I'm in the same boat or "bloat" with you. I am constipated. I've tried senna tablets -- no luck. I bought Natural Calm and drank some last night. I'll try a bigger dose tonight. Even though I am still constipated, at least doing the steak day was a success. Supposedly the weight stays off. I'm really hoping I don't see the scale go back up tomorrow! I'm really being careful today making sure I'm drinking lots of water and eating more protein.

    Hi..
    The bloat feeling is common when starting P3 even if you are "going" regularly. It's probably from adding back more food to our systems etc. Especially if you added back dairy. I took digestive enzymes with my meals and it helped alot.
    Didn't need them by the end of P3 so it will get better.. Hang in there!

    I am on day 17 of P3 and had the same bloat non regular issues you ladies are talking about. I finally started taking some digestive enzymes. It makes sense if you think about it, you haven't been eating this other stuff for a lengthy period of time and now all the sudden you are, your body is adjusting. Mine was taking forever to adjust and I hated the bloated gassy/crampy stomach feeling. The enzymes I got (Source Naturals bio align daily essential enzymes) have something in them to help with everything (protein, fat, carbs, milk products) and I noticed a difference the first day!

    I don't know if that will help any of you but I wanted to mention it because I was so miserable for so many days.

    Thanks for all the comments. I did also order digestive enzymes along with the magnesium powder, so hopefully between those two supplements my digestive track will return to normal. :-)
