    I have been religously following the list of foods I'm allowed to eat but was not calculating the calories. Turns out the last too days I was at 566 calories. Here's a sample of yesterday's menu & calorie count.
    Lunch:
    Chicken: 110
    2 c lettuce: 16
    Balsamic Vinaigrette: 5
    1 melba toast: 20
    1 apple: 80
    Water
    Coffee w/stevia

    Supper:
    Lean Ground Beef 215
    Tomato 65
    1 melba toast 20
    3 lrg strawberries 35
    water
    Total: 566

    Is this considered a big no no???

    I would do something besides the ground beef.

    I did lean ground beef with no problem, but maybe do it for lunch oh and I never tried the melba guletin problem

    I was asking this a little while ago. Most everyone told me that as long as you properly weigh the meat, and only eat the allowed foods that you should be fine, and that calorie counting isn't a big deal. I titled it "How important is calorie counting". So you can search for that and see the answers if you want to.

    I would be careful of the balsamic vinegar....it has sugar in it.
