I'm on round 2 and I'm having a hard time staying motivated.... any suggestions!! My weight loss is continuing so maybe it's summer fever catching hold of me! This is Day 14 but have only lost 9 pounds - I know, I shouldn't say "only" as I'm happy with any loss. But you get the point! I started March 6th on injections - did 40 days - then 3 weeks off, now back on shots. To date, 48 pounds lost!!!
Sounds like you're doing pretty well. I'm on R1P2D30 and have only lost 20 lbs. I have 10 days to go and then I'll start P3 for 3 weeks and then plan on going back to R2 for another 20 days. I have 20-25 more to lose!!! Good luck to you.
Asipleaz... I didn't reload - because I felt guilty! Since I hadn't added starches/sugars back to my diet I didn't feel hungry at all when I went back on the shots. I've heard that some do load again..but others don't - so I guess its what ever you're feeling at the moment.
Good luck and you're doing so well losing!!! Although people say lose 40 pounds in 40 days - that's not really the case. The average loss is 25 for women and 30 for men - so hang in there you're doing great!!! I'm hoping to lose another 45 pounds!!! Might have to do a round three!
I'm here and right in your shoes!!! My first round losses were phenomenal so I knew not to set my expectations that high for round 2 but dang, this is one time I wouldn't mind being wrong! :o)
R2P2VCLD16 down 14.4 total but 9.6lbs of that is real weight lost from my last LIW. was moving right along last week thru TOM...slower losses, .5lb/day-ish then 1.8lb Saturday morning and have been back up .5lb and playing with 166.2/166.4 ever since. Was definitely due for a stall but, but, but...I don't wanna!!!!
I don't know how I'm going to make it thru the Holiday weekend but I have to stay strong...6-8 more lbs for this round and I'll be happy but more would be great!
Bouscher - You're doing great!!! Ugh, this weekend is going to be so tough!!! We'll be traveling - but I'm making all my meals to go so I'm hoping that will help. I don't wanna stall either and I'm hoping that tomorrow I'll see a loss - if not, I'm having an apple day. I haven't done that before and really don't want to but...
This is my second round also. My first round I lost 18 lbs and 15 inches total. I then took 2 weeks off and loved P3. This round is hard for me also, I have cravings for sweets and it is hard for me to stay motivated also. I am on day 10 and have only lost 5 lbs. I am 9.8 pounds away from my goal and at this rate I don't think I am going to make it. But as long as I stay away from the dozen choc. chip cookies on my husbands night stand then I am good. But it does feel good to say that I am in the 140s for the first time since before my son was born 14 years ago. Keep up the strength and fight the temptations. We can do it.
aww thanks for the inspiration!! I can't wait until I can say I'm only 10 pounds away from my goal! I still have about 40 I want to lose. The doctor says I only need to lose about 25 more - so maybe somewhere in between. I am fairly tall 5'10" for a female and have always been athletic, so he says I can "carry more weight" and still look good. My goal is single digit clothing size!
The hardest for me is making dinner for the family and then (or before) eating mine. It seems I keep making the things I like to eat, when I should be making the things they like and I don't! I just keep telling myself I can do anything for 40 days (well, 43 days.) I have 24 days remaining!! I'll probably hold off on a round 3 until August or so...
If you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh right now? I am 5'8 1/2 and weigh 149.8. I thought that was a good weight for me. I used to be 5'10 but then had 2 back surgeries and shrunk. I have never been under 135 and could wear bellyshirts (when they were in) and short shorts, but have never been able to wear single digit clothes. I did go shopping the other day and can say I could fit into a 12, snug but not too snug and it felt good. I have lost a total of 20 inches all over and 24 pounds. So I know it can be done, but man this round is hard. I also need to stop "taste testing" my husbands food at dinner. He loves casseroles as do I. There really isn't anything I don't like that I could make him or that would really help.
Currently I weigh 205. Last time I was in an 8 clothing I weighed 160. Body types are different so that's probably why the size difference with our weights. I carry my weight very proportionally and I'm told all the time I don't look my weight at all. (Probably the muscle mass I have.) Even the clinic doctor was surprised.
