I am just starting P2 and I am confused about the veggie portion sizes. When it says you can eat cucumbers, onions, celery, radishes etc. how much of these can I have? The whole onion, the whole cucumber?? Thanks!
If you're on the Releana brand of hcg, they say 3.5 oz. But Dr. Simeon does not put a weight limit on vegetables. He only says to limit the total calories to 500 per day. I sometimes eat a whole cuke, or a bunch of radishes. If you eat a lot of tomato, that may keep you from losing, as tomatoes have a lot of natural sugar.
3 1/2 is the amount for each serving of protein. The veggies is as much as the rest of your calories would allow. That can be a TON of spinach or a small amount of tomato.
