I started my first load day on May 8th and as of this morning have lost 27 pounds. I was planning on doing a 40 day round but am now thinking I should do 23 days, 3 following days and taking a couple weeks off then resuming. I feel maybe I should do that to let my body rest. I have hypothyroidism and I just don't want my body to go wacky and shut down or anything. Is there anyone that can help me with this?

    Stats- Pre load- 253
Post load- 259 (I knew how to roll on that :o)
    Today 232

    Thanks!

    Wow,
    Your doing great Heather!

I have hypothyroidism too, I've been going on and off for a year.
    It's only been helping...

Heather. Those losses are inspiring!!! Have you been following the protocol? Your losses are well above average for a female, but not a male. We are supposed to lose 1 to 3 pounds a day. I'd say that if your not have any negative health symptoms and are following the protocol, you've got nothing to worry about.

Colleen (grammy) is the resident expert so I'd ask her about it.

    Good luck.

I had my first load day on the 8th too.

    I think you're fine...

Wow, you are doing great for a girl! Amazing! You aren't supposed to lose more than 34 pounds unless you have a lot to lose which you do so you could go up to 40 pounds. With losses like that, I'd keep going! Then make sure you take your 6 week break to let your skin catch up. You go, girl!

it won't hurt you. Dr. S says doing the hcg actually helps the thyroid. I think it depends on what kind you have though. I have autoimmune so it didn't do anything for mine but it sure sounds like it might be for you!

For having a thyroid problem you are doing amazing. My weight loss is slower because of my thyroid and it is frustrating me to no end.
    Congrats.....

Thank you everyone for replying with such kind and positive support! I've been stalking these boards for awhile and seeing all the support on here is the reason I decided to go thru with trying this life style change. It's weird to actually be worried about losing too much weight so soon..in what world does that happen? I'm more than thrilled with the loss and just so grateful..only a little nervous about how fast it was coming off.

*Ellie- So you have been going for a round then resting for a few weeks before resuming?
*Jewlz- Wow! You're doing an amazing job yourself! Congrats!
*Texican- I've been strictly following the Dr. Simeons protocol..not cheating and only eating the foods off of the the list. I omit the melba toast and sometimes cut one fruit out of the day..but the rest exactly as stated. I also drink about 60oz green tea and 120oz of water daily.
*Grammy- I'm so happy you responded to my post..you're like a rock star on here and so supportive of people! You're fantastic!
*Kimmert- I know how frustating the whole thyroid issue and weight loss issue is, but keep on it! It's better to go down in weight than go up..no matter how slow you think it's going!
*Hopin- I'm just doing the HHCG drops under the tongue. No complaints! And congratulations on your success!

Again everyone, thanks so much for your encouragement and advice!

Keep us posted, Heather! I'm very interested in how you do. YOU are our rock star with that kind of loss. LOL What brand of hhcg are you using?

    Thanks, Grammy!
I feel so silly, but I use the hhcg from hcgdietdirect.com. I paid way too much compared to what others have paid, so I've learned my lesson for the next round. But, I've been doing good on them, so I can't complain too much about the price. Probably would of been spent on something way less healthy for me anyway. I will definitely keep you posted!
