I am a mother of twin boys also! They are 9 and their names are Finley and Grayson. They look alike but I have never had them blood tested to know for sure if they are identical or fraternal. Personality-wise they are very different. How about your guys?

Mine are faternal - they test automatically at birth. They are now 20 years old! I can't believe it... Over the years the boys have had their personalities very different and very much the same - I think they were trying to find themselves in the midst of having a twin. Once they reached 15/16 they really became very similiar in likes/dislikes but different as far as shyness/outgoing goes. They love being together to the point that friends tell me my boys should get out more and socialize. Kolby has one set of friends..Shelby has another, but then they have mutual friends. It's only with the mutual friends to they go out and do anything with.

Raising twins has been so much fun!!! I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Unfortunately, my Dr. didn't test to be sure. It's amazing how little knowledge some ob/gyn and peds know about twins. They assumed they were fraternal because they were in separate sacs but most identicals form separate sacs or they think identical because the sacs can fuse together and look like one in a sonogram. I would have to pay $250 to know for certain and I really don't have a good reason to draw blood. :)

I'm worried about the friends thing because one is more of a social butterfly then the other but it is what it is. I can't imagine mine at 20 and look forward to seeing where they are at that time. I often wonder if they will attend the same college or not.

BTW, I love your twins' names. I went to unique route myself and never regretted it.
