I started P3 yesterday and so far so good. What I'd like to know is what, if any, factors do you think point to a successful P3? Lack of stomach bloating? Lack of hunger? How calories are reintroduced? How foods are reintroduced? I know weight stabilization is the ultimate goal and indicator that your P3 is in good shape, but what commonalities do you see in people who stabilize easily and well? Thanks.
i think adding foods slowly is important, so you can see how they affect you. listening to your body- not trying to restrict calories, and not trying to shove in a certain amount of them either. hunger shouldn't be an issue while on P3, although some of us seem to be bottomless pits when it starts. i recommend lots of veggies since the fiber helps fill you up, and they contain so many necessary vitamins/minerals/enzymes. i think another thing is moderation- a little of just about anything is ok- it's when you go overboard that there's a problem, even if it's an "allowed" food.
I am a little different. I jumped right in P3 instead of slowly introducing foods, andI didn't have any problems. Everyone is different, so be careful. I agree with mgsondance- moderation is key.
I just started P3 yesterday and everything seems to be going smoothly, except I have been so tired! I did P2 45 days, and actually increased my protein during the 72 hour transition, because I felt so drained. Is this normal? I don't think I am having any problems with introducing foods during P3, as I am adding them slowly. Only up 1 pound from lowest weight. This forum has helped me so much with all of my questions thus far.
Are you hungry on P3? This is only the second day, so I would imagine my appetitie will increase by the end of P3? I certainly am not hungry like I used to be before I started this process!
My hunger is pretty quiet as well, furrysox. I expected to be hungry once the hcg left my system, but it never came. I would complain, but it's a nice change of pace to not have food on the brain the way I used to. I also like getting full off of smaller portions than I used to. I hope this ends up being my norm.
