years ago, when i was on straight Atkins, those bars tasted like ground up vitamins surrounded by fake tasting icing. I just started P3 and was told not to try any for a bit, but of course i thought i could handle it and had one on my first day- it was a peanut nougget kind of bar and shit- it was ...awsome! Tasted kind of like some of those slim fast bars which have a ton of sugar of course, but wow, technology in these bars have come miles! I had a 1/2 of a coconut one last night and did kinda taste like a mounds bar, though a tiny bit drier. I am taking it slow with the bars because that first bar on the first day (as well as the cheese, chicken sausage, etc, i had put the weight up and i had to do a steak day on my 2nd day of p3) but i am really enjoying myself. I kinda feel like an experiment, a science project. Tweaking things here and there to make myself function perfectly and remain within the 2 Lbs of lowest weight. I am going to start my 2nd round the weekend of july 4th. I though that would be a perfect weekend to gorge. That will be 4 weeks between cycles and i was told that would be ok.
yesman7- actually the last question posted, the one with the questionaire has all these questions of mine, but in case u didnt see mine- i did the 43 day, i still have over 75lbs to loose, i lost about 25 lbs, i think on the needle that is pre filled by my center i go to, was at the 15 or maybe it was 115, some # ending in 5. i injected it all over. thighs, arm, belly. The lady at my place jokingly said you could inject it into you neck if you want, just get it in there. That was a joke, nobody go sticking yourself in the neck, but the point was made.
Yeah, i am thinking I may have jumped the gun too fast eating the Adkins bars too soon into P3. I am waiting to see what happens on the scale today. ihave been going upeach day but I don't want to give them up unless I have to. Maybe til my third week??? I may have to try the coconut kind though--I love mounds!
I have eaten a whole box (6) of the Atkins peanut butter carmel I think on the first 4 days of R3. Am hovering about a 1.2 lbs above my benchmark LIW. I expected to have to day a steak day after eating 2 of the bars in one day. Couldn't resist. Walgreens is having a sale on the Atkins bars so I know where I will be later. Yeah Atkins!!!!! You've comforted me, understood my pain, and gave me something I desperately needed in a moment of carbohydrate weakness. From all of us fat people (trying to be skinny) everywhere thank you!
