Got my HCG today!! Loading this weekend. This will be my second round...First round I lost 18lbs in 23 days. I did the short round b/c my hubby was getting ready to go overseas and didn't think I would last too long after he left. I have maintained my weight for 6 weeks. I will be doing a short round again 23 days of injections 21 days of VLCD....good luck to everyone. I'll be on here daily.

Yay, I am glad I found you guys! I have decided to start loading this weekend for round 2. Technically I am supposed to wait until the following Wednesday to start loading, but I think I am going to start either Sat. or Sunday. I enjoyed the foods on P3 soooooo much that I hadn't been looking forward to starting hcg again (even though I have about 80 lbs to go). However in the past week and a half, I have been so anxious to get started again. I lost 29lbs in my first 40 day round. I am really hoping for that much (or more would be GREAT) in round 2.

What is everyone planning to eat during loading days?

i am going to concentrate on protien since im only doing phase 3 (3 weeks) then jumping to round 2 i doubt i will do carbs or surgers in fact im not even sure we are suppose to when we cut ourselves short to the next round but in any case i know that i need to get in enough protien because on round 1 think that is why i had issues and had to add another load day and this round i want to just do the 2 load days that we are suppose to do... i sure would LOVE some pizza though :-P

Hopefully I'll get to start this weekend also. I'm just waiting for my bac. water to get here. I cant wait to get started. I work for the school district and I'm looking forward to starting the new school year a bit smaller than when I left.
For my loading days I'm gonna get some KFC, some mexican from my fav restaurant and I have a pint of Ben and Jerry's Peach Cobbler ice cream with my name on it in the freezer. Oh, and since Dr. S recommends pastries with cream filling, I'm gonna hit KK for a cream filled donut with chocolate icing. And I will be savoring those last cups of morning coffee with my half and half added...gonna miss those bad :(
I think the hardest part of this is gonna be drinking enough water and giving up my wine with dinner.

I will be one week behind you guys, so I guess I will benefit from your "expertise"! I was sooo tempted to start this weekend, but I don't have all my food ready or other stuff (I have to get a decent digital scale...mine isn't digital & looks like it came from the stone age!). Hubby gets paid next Friday (25th) & my daughter comes home from the UK that following day, so it will be the perfect time to do my loading. Besides, my TOM just came yesterday (3 1/2 wks late...fibroids), so it would not be wise to start this wknd anyway. But I am glad we will all be close together on our rounds! It's nice to meet you all.

I'd better get started soon, though. If it weren't TOM for me, I'd think my mind is playing tricks on me & encouraging me to do a "pre-load load" this week, I've been eating more than usual...LOL

Good luck & God's blessings to you all!!

I've been eating like that this past week too ruralakey. It's kinda like my brain has been telling me "you better eat all your favs now cuz it's gonna be forever before you get em again"...lol.
Sorry to hear about the fibroids, I had em too, had hyst. 2 yrs ago cuz of em and it sucks not being able to predict when your TOM is gonna be. Also makes for a miserable week when dealing with em, as if TOM isn't bad enough...lol.
Nice to meet you too and welcome to the group.

Yes, Peggy...the "traveling TOM" certainly complicates things. I was hoping I'd just go ahead & skip altogether while I was on protocol, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I am sincerely hoping to report a major weight loss, when I return to my gyn in Sept., not only for the satisfaction of the experience, but also because I've always suspected a big part of my female issues were due to weight (your fat cells not only store toxins, but excess estrogen too..no wonder I'm in such a mess!). He had told me that, if things weren't better, he was putting me on another round of Provera then, & I hope to avoid that, if possible.

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose brain seems to think it's okay to go ahead and extend the load into a 2 wk "mini-load"!! LOL

I am so very glad I found this site! It is so helpful to have people to relate to who understand.
