I have been researching D3 dosages for weight loss, and there are a LOT of varying opinions. Just curious to see if there is a common dosage among us hcg'ers...?
I was tested awhile ago and was very low. I give my 3 kids 1-2000 iu/day or when I remember and my husband and I get 4-6000 iu/day. I've heard some people go as high as 50,000 when they're sick (very short per. of time)...not sure that I would go this far.
I take 4000 iu every day. It's vital to keep from getting cancer. And Evita, you need at least half an hour of sunshine on bare, unprotected skin every day to even come close to enough.
I would suggest after living in Hawaii and California that Evita is getting much more than 30 days unprotected. I was constantly darkly tanned just from going to my car and back or taking the kids for a walk or or or .... never went to the beach very much because I wasn't a sun worshipper.
My vitamin D3 is liquid and the dropper measures 1ml. There's no iu info on it. Anyone care to venture how much I should take? The recommended dosage is 1 dropper (1ml). I've been doing that but have heard about the higher doses and can't figure out a conversion. Thanks for any insight.
My daughter is that way living in AZ but her levels were still on the low side. It needs to be more direct too and she wasn't getting that. Just morning and late afternoon. But with more direct sunlight, she might be okay. Colleen
I read this morning that sunlight alone is usually not enough for anyone over the age of 40. me<------47 yrs old. Plus, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer at 42 and died at 46. me<-----lived longer than my mother already. I mainly started taking D3 because of the chance of protecting against reproductive cancers. But it turns out that there are lots of diseases and ailments that it helps with. Plus, if it has any weight loss properties, that's just a bonus. ;-)
