So I'm able to start P3 tonight at 6:30 since I last took the homeopathic drops on Tuesday at 6:30pm. (Right?)

What do I eat during the day today? I was assuming I'd have one fruit and one protein/veggie meal (I don't eat the grissini for the most part). Does that make sense?

Feels like an obvious question but I don't want to do it wrong.

My plan for first P3 meal tonight is to add dairy. Some cheese, full-fat dressing on my salad, and chicken legs instead of lean meat. Does that sound reasonable?

Tomorrow I really, really want an omelet, and I seem to do fine with eggs (did them a few times on P2 with the extra whites). Would that be okay?

    Thanks in advance.

When I began Phase 3, I was able to start at 5:30 pm. During the day I just ate exactly like I would on a normal Phase 2 day. I had my fruit for breakfast, a protein and veggie for lunch and then my 2nd fruit for a snack at about 3:00. For dinner I added cheese and veggies! I was really nervous about my weigh in the next morning, but I actually lost a half a pound.

Your plan sounds like it will work great! I hope you enjoy your omelet tomorrow. Getting to Phase 3 is so nice. Good luck! :)

Thanks! I'm doing well, although questioning whether starting P3 while my family is visiting was a wise idea, as I've increased calories rather dramatically and haven't had as much energy or control over my meals. I am currently really constipated and gassy! Probably from not enough veggies yesterday. And TOM is coming any second which doesn't help stabilizing and kind of confuses things. Today I'm at the top end of my window of 158-162, so will push the water and stick with protein and veggies today - a little cheese and dressing on my salad at dinner. Have some psyllium on board to hopefully help move things along.

Try digestive enzymes and/or smooth move tea to help with the constipation and gas. When you start adding back foods keep a food diary to know which ones cause a gain and which ones are okay. It may take up to 3 days to note the weight gain. P3 is still no sugars, no starches so watch those ingredients HFCS high fructose corn syrup is in everything! It's worth the effort to keep it tight in P3 for the 3 weeks. I am currently in P4 and really enjoying vacation having meals out where I can eat what I want keeping within my daily calorie allotment by knowing what foods cause weight gain (bread is lethal) I can stay within a lb of my LDW.

Thanks, lolly. Great tips and advice. I am keeping a food diary. I used to eat "primal" (no sugars, no starches, basically) before doing HCG so I am very familiar with P3-allowed foods, and I make literally everything from scratch (just made mayo yesterday!) so that I can avoid sugar and HFCS. I am really sure that my couple of lb gain is TOM approaching plus lack of BM and water retention.
