My weight was up .6 lbs. today, day 10 vlcd, after a 13 lb. weight loss, I was trying to figure out why, I had ordered a venti Passion tea lemonade unsweetened at starbucks thinking it only had a couple of ounces of lemon juice and 0 calories and we are allowed juice on one lemon daily. well, I was wrong, I just looked up the calorie content and looks like it is at least 60 calories, since they use lemonade concentrate. I am so bummed. what are the consequences of this, can I repair the damage quickly? does any one here know? I just have to be more diligent from now on, because this really is the miracle diet, when it is done right, but now I feel like I blew it, for no reason.

    thanks, nena

You're doing great! Don't get down on yourself because of an accident, you know what you did so just use it as a learning experience.

You're at a typical stall period too, Nena. Just hang in there. You could try cutting one fruit today if you like.

thanks, Priscilla and grammy for your advice! I feel better. i will try cutting a fruit, too, good idea. I just had my tea/tblspn milk and included a melba toast for breakfast, no fruit. I just really like this diet so I want to do it right. last week I was all spacey and tired, and just yesterday, I started feeling more energy, a bit back to normal. I have heard that can happen, so I guess I had the energy to saunter out on a little jaunt to Starbucks, lol! thnking I could handle it, what's the harm? now I just have to be more careful, learning experience!

so weird that you had this today because I had the passion tea this morning also. I had the regular passion tea (not the lemonade one) and asked for it unsweetened (they add sugar) and then added my own stevia. next time, do that! not sure how many calories it has since the nutrition info has it with sugar, but I would imagine that without the sugar, the calories are minimal. the venti passion tea with lemonade has 190 calories!

just looked again... without the sugar, the calories are 0. look at the hot version and it says 0, so I just have it iced with no sugar. it was very good too!

    thanks, lms,

I had the passion tea lemonade with no sugar, but I didn't realize the lemonade is presweetened, so it was about 60-70 calories, I think. they said it was sugarfree, but I assumed it was just leomon juice. Yes, I also drink the passion tea, even make it at home, and it is 0 calories. I'll be really careful from now on. I just spent an hour on the treadmill, light walking and 10 min.s sauna, and been drinking a lot of water, skipped my fruit, and I plan to take a detox bath, so I am feeling good now, thanks!

Same thing happened to me! I even asked the Barista if the lemonaide and the tea were both sugar free. I told her I was diabetic and could not have any sugar. She assured me it was sugar free. I added a sweet and low and drank it thinking it sure was sweet. Sure enough, I went to another starbucks and asked and was told the lemonaide has sugar! I was ticked!

Kalamazoo, I guess from now we are supposed to just ask to see the label, darn it! I think they could find a way to make a completely sugar free passion tea lemonade! they don't need to use fresh squeezed lemons (although for the price they charge for the drink, they might as well use the best!) they can just use lemon juice and water, and we can add our sweet and lows, plain and simple. I thought Starbucks was trying to work to make a healthier menu recently, doesn't seem like it. That hot dog stick place in the mall makes a totally sugar free lemonade, if you ask for it, and theirs is made from scratch! doesn't take much effort or time. jeesh!
