But is Splenda/anything with sucralose taboo on P3? I'm reading conflicting theories...

many people use Splenda with no problem and others can't. When it comes to the sweeteners, it's kind of gray. :-( I use Sweet n Low which is on protocol but some have used Truvia as well as Splenda.

Hmm I have splenda and truvia on hand. Do you suggest I stick with those at first and just see how it goes?

I was initially wondering because I'd seen some syrups and dressings made with sucralose and I wasn't sure if they were ok for P3

I wouldn't do major intake of sweetener though, like syrups etc. Most of us only use a smidge in our coffee or tea.

I use Splenda regularly in my cooking as well as my coffee and iced tea. I've used it through all my phases. It's the only thing that kept me sane.

I gained with Splenda on P3, I was okay with it on P4. I use Stevia on P2.

What about diet drinks? or crystal light? Can I ever stop at Sonic and get a diet strawberry limeade? ;)

Sonic is the best! I had an occasional (maybe twice) diet cherry limeade at sonic during my last P3 and didn't gain. I drank it early right at the start of happy hour (2) and drank extra water after. I'm paranoid. lol It turned out okay, though.

Sonic doesn't provide the ingredients for their food items... I would be hesitant to eat there. Nutritional info is one thing, but I would also like to know what I'm eating, too. I have to wonder how much food dye is in those drinks as they are rather brilliant in color.
