I just bought a smaller container of Heavy Whipping Cream. How do I make it so I can put it over my Mug Cake? Do I just whip it or do I add items to it?

    Thanks.

I haven't done it yet, but Colleen (Grammy) says add your sweetner and whip it, whip it real good. =D

Yes, but how much sweetner and whipping?

It depends on how much you want, I guess. I don't think that it changes volume a ton... and you'll have to flavor to your preferred sweetness. Hopefully someone can chime in who has better measurements.

Maybe use or adapt the frosting recipe below?
    Good luck,
    Donna
    ---------------------------

    Mug Cake
    1/4 cup flax meal
    1 egg
enough butter to make it very moist
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp baking soda
    sweetener to taste
You can add any other ingredients you wish to make it either savory or sweet.. put pumpkin spice in it, or even substitute the butter with pumpkin or cream cheese.
Mix them all together in a mug and microwave 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. Tastes a lot like a bran muffin.

    Original Cream Cheese Frosting Recipe
    4 oz cream cheese
3 tbsp Stevia or Xylitol(I used Xylitol, as the stevia I buy is in individual packets)
    3 tbsp heavy cream
Combine cream cheese and Stevia until well blended. Whip in heavy cream until frosting is nice and thick

    For the chocolate frosting, add:
1 heaping tablespoon of dark chocolate cocoa powder
1 extra teaspoon of heavy cream
    1/2 tsp extra of xylitol
This recipe makes enough for about 3 mug cakes I'd say, depending on how much frosting you like on your cake ;)

I put about half a cup--maybe a little more- in a Magic Blender cup. I added about a teaspoon of xylitol. It was supper fast and tasted heavenly! It made me fall in love with my Magic Bullet all over again. I am storing the rest in the fridge, but my guess is that it is best right after you make it.

Hmm that Magic Bullet is sounding better and better....so is the whipping cream!
