Hi, I was reading back through hashi's post about using the ascorbic acid in her tea. It gave her the vitamin c without eating the fruit and having the sugar and calories, etc. My question is if I do use it in my tea, do I have to give up a fruit? Sorry if it seems like a silly question, I just want to be sure. Thanks. :)
Nope! I have never gave up the fruit.. with the ascobic acid you are just getting the pure vitamin C no extra sugar and calories so you dont need to sacrifice somthing.. there is a restriction on how much lemon juice you can have in the protocol.. i think it is a half lemon a day. but with ascorbic acid i use as much as i want.. so enjoy your fruit and your ascorbic acid.. no problem that i can see
Thanks lagirl. I may try and get some stevia to do some lemon water sweetened like lemonade. I do not like lemon flavor on my foods at all, so i haven't used the juice of a lemon yet.
