Well I was so prepared for this day but then last minute I ended up not so prepared.
I had to run to my cabin yesterday and have an estate sale today. I brought proteins and veggies but thats it. So when I woke up today I realized I didnt have anything really for breakfast forgetting I could eat breakfast. My sister and BIL didnt have anything healthy to eat. So I had a can of cashews in the car so I ate alot of those probably 2 servings YIKES. It was so busy at the sale that I ate in between people coming. So then I had some crab legs I brought and then before we left I used the George Foreman and cooked up some chicken I had and ate that knowing I wasnt going to be home for several hrs. So then we decided to get some dinner since I had nothing prepared so we had mexican food. I had a chicken fajita salad which consist of chicken, lettuce, peppers, sour cream, guacamole etc. I thought it all was allowed but then realized I should only had added one food at a time.
I guess if I gain tomorrow I will not know what food did it so I will just have to eat all the normal stuff and try again the next day. But how do you think I did other than too many new foods at once.
I think you'll be ok. Remember, in Phase 3, you can have anything you like except refined sugars and starches. The ingredients in your taco salad should have been just fine. If you see a gain later this morning, it's most likely from the cashews (which are a starch / carb). Not everyone is able to have nuts in Phase 3. Those who are typically stick with brazil nuts, coconut, macadamia nuts, pine nuts, and walnuts. These are all safe for P3.
Some can also tolerate almonds, hazelnuts, pecans, and pistacios (but it depends upon each individual). These are MAYBE nuts.
Most people cannot, however, tolerate cashews and peanuts. These are not good for P3. You may not see a gain at all, but if you do, it's probably from those cashews. Otherwise, it sounds like you had a pretty good 1st day on P3.
