Everytime I use Laura's Lean beef I see the scale go down. I have cut back on the chicken this week. I have been subsituting a whey protein shake instead. (Not on protocol.) I work for a company called Fred Meyer and folks oh my gosh I am watching prices rise! Laura's lean ground beef is not 6.29 a pound!!!
What I do is they mark down the meat like two days before it goes bad. I shop on my lunch right before I go home. So I pick up a couple of pieces of meat for me and for my family, I keep it in the trunk with something cold on top. Works fine since I am in Seattle and am only there another hour or so until I leave. So I usually get a pound for around 4.50. It is so good because it's all meat, hardly any fat. I just found a new meal, ground up the hamburger and cook some cabbage. Can even make the cabbage with some organic chicken broth and then add in the hamgurger, yum yum!!
must be a diuretic action from the beef ellie, because you really should only eat the extra lean- and they don't carry it. the lean has too much fat. :(
