I am on day 14 of p2. The 1st week I lost 9.8 lbs. Since then I haven't lost anything. I am doing an apple day today and feel ok. I have not been hungry but I have felt very weak the whole time. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. Has anyone else experienced this weakness???
Thanks Grammy for responding so quickly. I am on the sublingual drops and I am taking 15 drops 3x a day. I think it may be a blood sugar thing. I have 1 fruit in the mornings. Maybe I need to up my dose like I have been reading here. I've probably done something wrong, I've seen several things in this forum that I am going to try, but I have really been working hard to do everything by the book. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and what they did.
Thank you Twinma, I've been reading some of the posts and it seems quiet a few have the same symptoms. I'll try some of the suggestions. Hope it doesn't last all 40 days. I have to lose weight, I have 3 family weddings coming up and I have to buy a dress, which is a scary thing right now.
No problem! I had to get the weight off to fit into an entire bag of Spring and Summer clothes for work. I refused to buy any more size 10 clothes. I had to buy some for our Spring Break vacation but I felt HUGE the whole time we were away.
Well now I am in size 6 and Small tops. Some of those clothes are too big now. The size 10 shorts were taken to Goodwill and are practically brand new.
That is awesome. If I can lose what I want to I will be in a sz 6 also. If you can stick it out being weak then I can to lol. Thank you for the encouragement.
if you're weak just during the apple day, i'd say to not do one again- you will eventually drop the water weight either way, and your body apparently needs the protein. many people are weak while on P2- some have to increase their protein, others tough it out. i've seen a pattern that the worst of it comes right after those initial huge losses, because your body is trying to adjust to the shock of it.
Thank you so much. I did lose 1 pound on my apple day. I wasn't hungry at all, just felt like I had been ill or something....in fact I have felt that way all through VLCD. I will take all the info I have found on this forum into consideration and try some of the things. I haven't been diligent about taking my supplements that came with my HCG drops but that is one thing I will do. I think it is more the lack of carbs than protein because on past diets if I felt this way I could eat some carbs & would feel normal immediately. I've made it through 2 weeks, I can make it the rest of the way. Thanks for all the help.
Just wanted to thank everyone for sharing on this forum. I have read so many posts and have taken some of the advice, feeling so much better and the weight is coming off again. YEA!! You just have to follow diet exactly. No changes.
