    @ Watch That is about what people eat on load day. I know people who drink half and half just to get in their calories yes close to 5000 a day.
    Trixie it will come off I bet it is not having a bm as well with all of that food in ya. Can't wait to hear abou your losses :)

    I ate more than that on my load days don't feel bad Trixie!!! I bet it is a sensitivitie you have to something you ate.Probably all the gluten. I gained 6 pounds though, it does come off fast so don't worry too much. I load up in 2 weeks & can't wat!! :) For the loading, not what follows......

    Trixie.. Most of that weight gain is Salt and everyone know what Hashi says about salt.."SALT IS THE DEVIL"
    cheese is high salt and so is most of that stuff on you list( i dont want to repeat it cuz i was getting cravings reading it)
    go low or no sodium for this first week or so and it should come off.. Loading in round 2/3 can be dangerous and should be done differently than round one..( I learned that from the vets and Cyclers) som how we can easily pack on a ton during loading. and we should probably load using good fats and p3 friendly foods only. because the carbs make it where you get these huge gains and it takes the whole first week to lose it..
    so honey go low/no salt drink plenty of water and green tea and stay close to a restroom because you will soon be peeing like a race horse..

    Hashi what would you suggest for R2'ers loading? I am loading on the 4th and was really only going to have a couple treats a day instead of gorging like most do on R1. Have guacamole and more P3 items then usual like more nuts, and almond butter and such. what else would you suggest?

    I'm sure Hashi will have some great suggestions..but it sounds like you're on the right track. Lots of good healthy fats - nuts, avocados and such. Since I went P2 - P3 - P2...I didn't load at all for my second round. Not the smartest idea I've ever had. Heading into my third round soon and I'll be loading! I need Hashi's list too!

    Trixie, how long did it take you? I am finishing up my last night of loading for my 3rd round and have ballooned up almost 10 lbs also.. so nervous! I feel like a whale right now, ha! And I did focus more on p3 foods instead of starch. Can't wait for 500 calories.

    kcooper- is you gained 10# in 2 days on P3 foods, i'll bet you anything you ate stuff you were VERY sensitive to. lots of cheese, maybe?

    I did have pizza and ice cream.. those were the main things I wanted to get out of my system before starting protocol again and I think that did it. After one day of VLCD I'm already down 9, so I'm guessing it was A LOT of inflammation.
