    I'm on R1 VLCD2 and so far am still enjoying my 1-a-day a.m. Red Bull. I hate to give it up! It has the caffeine of 2 cups of coffee (80 mgs caffein) with 10 cals, 0g Fat, 3g carbs and 0g sugar. Carbonated water, citric acid, taurine, sodium citrate, magnesium carbonate, glucuronolactone, aspartame, inositol as major ingredients.

    What do you think? I'm thinking of staying with it unless it causes a stall or weight gain... The ooomph I get in the morning with Red Bull is good. Is anyone else sticking with their Red Bull?!

    I had the SF Red Bull more than once, though not daily. I have terrible insomnia so I frequently just stay up all night to help facilitate sleep the *following* night and the Red Bull helped me stay "up."

    Yes, I have the evil sort of insomnia where I can be dreadfully tired, but Still. Not. Fall. Asleep.

    Anyway, 30 pounds in 6 weeks, so I think it was fine for me.

    Don't do it. It will mess you up. I know of one person who had a really tough round while drinking that stuff. And now in R2 she is doing MUCH bettter.

    The aspartame is one of those bad once!!!!!!!!!!

    Not really a good idea. We have found that during the first few days or week, cheats and such dont have too bad an effect on weight loss. After that, unallowed things can really mess with the protocol and slow down weight loss or stall it. Aspartame is one of those that is really bad to take anyway and does cause many people to stall.

    You may find that you continue to lose, but I cant help but wonder how much it will enterfere and if you would have lost more. To me - not worth it - Just my thoughts.

    I think I may have accidentally discovered a Red Bull alternative! Before starting the hcg, I went to my Whole Foods and stocked up on a few tea beverages to try for those times when I might need a flavorful distraction. Well, that time was now. I was hungry so I started to rummage thru my fridge for something to drink to quell the hunger pangs...and low and behold came upon the Steaz Energy zero calorie tea! It has 100 mgs of caffeine, sparkling water, green tea, yerba mate, guarana and acai. 0 cals, 0 sugar and 0 carbs. Stevia and organic erythritol for sweetener.

    Wow! It's good and the taste closely mimics the Red Bull. I'm off to Whole Foods to buy a 6-pack. My last Red Bull goes to my roommate. lol

    mktngwiz - I will ahve to check those out. I drink sugar free Rockstar. A lot... no issues in this round or the last. I know it's not the best thing to have, but oh well.
