This is my first week on HCG I am seeing some results almost 9lbs this week. Do anyone know of some over the counter shampoo that I can get that is not too expensive. Since we cannot use anything with oil in foods or hygiene products I have been using baking soda. HCG products are not in my budget. I used baby oil on my hair before but since we can't use oil do anyone have any cheap suggestions?

I used Pantene shampoo and conditioner, Curel lotion, Sure Solid anti-perspirant, my own handmade soap with shea butter, and all of my regular drug store makeup, with no problems. I did change from Chapstick to Carmex lip balm, since that is one thing that I know I'm ingesting.

I've read that baby oil is allowable since it's comprised of mineral oil (which they've also said has no nutritional value)... I've been using babyoil when i get out of the shower before i dry and then i pat dry. It keeps my skin fairly hydrated through the day (at least no dry spots).

Most people don't change alot of their hygiene products. Just make sure there's no lanolin or oil in them. I use Aussie shampoo/cond. with no problem, same old deodorant, same oil-free makeup. The only thing I changed/stopped was lotion. I've been using the baby oil, doesn't work very good, but it's something!
