I’m confused. I’m thinking of ordering online instead of through my clinic. I want to order for a long round which is 40 or 43 days depending on the site.

    (1) On yourhcgdiet.com, it states you need the following:
Everything you need for a 43 day round: - Corion hCG (2 5000iu amps)
    ~or~
Everything you need for a 43 day round: - Corion hCG (5 2000iu amp)

    (2) On Pubah’s site, it states:
The 40-day Cost-Saver mixing kit includes: 2 vials of 5000 IU hCG

    (3) On yourhcgcoach.com it states:
1 (one) vial of 5,000 IU HUCOG brand hCG is approximately 40 days (injections)

    (4) Reliablerx.com and alldaychemist.com both state:
One HCG 5000IU vial will make a solution that is good for 28 to 33 injections

5,000 vs 10,000--What am I missing here? The injections are all about the same (150 – 175 IU), so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to order double the amount for an extra 12-15 days. Is the assumption there will be unused hcg or a person my stay on the diet longer? Do different brands of hcg yield a different number of injections? Do they all come with different mixing instructions so the amount injected yields a different number of injections/days? (5) My clinic sold me 5000 IUs for 28 injections/days (from a compounding pharmacy if that matters). The ordering information is so confusing to me. Vets... can you weigh in here? I inject sub-Q w/175 IUs.

    Purchasing vials of 5,000:
    (1) 43 days: 10,000 IUs
    (2) 40 days: 10,000 IUs
    (3) 40 days: 5,000 IUs ---notice this is 1/2 the amount from the previous amount; is this a typo?
    (4) 28 – 33 days: 5,000 IUs
    (5) 28 days: 5,000 IUs

    Thanks!

don't do the 10k's bc hcg can go bad after a certain amount of time.

if you can afford the 2k's, that's the best way to go for freshness, but the 5K's seem to work fine for many hcgers.

    i think number 3 is a typo...

so 2 of the 5k's or 5 of the 2k's would be the way to go

different brands have different potency levels, so that is also a factor. however, it's not a huge difference. the main thing is the freshness of your hcg and how you mix it.

Agree with lost-in-germany, 2000iu vials are best for injections, unless you're sharing with someone else. Mixed hcg can lose potency over time, and with 2000iu vials, you're assured of freshly mixed hcg.

How do I determine the potency of a particular brand? I'm not sharing with anyone.

(Lost, the 10K was a total of 2 5000 vials... I would not purchase a vial over 5000)

the potency issue is really if you have to switch brands and have been used to a certain dosage with one brand but find that you have hunger with the other brand. The variable is not so great that it would alter the amount of hcg vials needed to finish a round.

Corion and liquid Hucog seem to be more potent varieties. I use Corion and was recommended to start at 150cc's sq injections and it works well for me. Normally, people are recommended to start at 175 or 200 cc's when taking sq injections.

I know and appreciate it, too... I'm one of those people who should wear the sign that says "Confront me if I don't ask for help". LOL.

a 5,000 iu vial will only get you about 3 weeks but it may be close for a short round...if it starts losing potency you would just need to increase your dose to accomodate.
