So - I do actually eat a grissini most days. I know a lot of you don't. For those that do - my question is, do you diviate from that or melba toast providing the ingridients/calories are about the same? I have, and don't notice any difference than if I would have had my sole lonely breadstick.

That being said, I wanted to share a cracker I found today.... I love it, which might be a bad thing. You can have 3.5 of these little crisps and keep the calories about the same as a grissini. I found them at safeway today near the salad bar. They are thin...not all that filling but have a ton of flavor (I have the rosemary ones)

Anyway - just thought I'd share.....

i think a lot of people don't because trudeau said that you'd lose more without them. also, a number of people are sensitive to gluten. but if you want to be a purist, i think there might have been a reason for having a bit of starch. when dr. s. talks about modifying the plan for other cultures he says to eat 100 gm of lean protein twice a day and a little bit of starch. doesn't specify that you have to have the fruit or veggies, but does specify the starch, which i think is interesting.

I'm no expert on this diet yet, but without the grissini, I don't honestly know if I could make it. I NEED that breadstick! I guess I'm a true carboholic because I look forward to those babies like they're gold.

I have tried Melba snacks too, I don't seem to see any difference in my losses with them.

I'm going without my Melba today to see if it helps a minor stall I'm in. We shall see.

I don't eat them, and not because of anything Kevin Trudeau says. I just know flour and me don't get along... or maybe we get along TOO well!

My losses were .4, .2 and 0, so cut out my Melba yesterday and down .6 today. Not sure it that was the reason, but I will leave them out again today and see what happens.

my problem has been finding grissini, I think the hcg subculture has had an impact LOL
Dr. S says if you don't feel the 'need' to eat the fruit or grissini it's okay to go without
my first week was really good without the fruit or grissini and on R2 is seems that a lot of the cravings that drove me crazy are gone
