you're fine. you'll stall more from your panic tonight than you will from the turkey. :)

btw, turkey is actually more lean than chicken breast. chicken breast has 3.5 gm of fat per our serving size; turkey has .7 gm of fat.

Don't panic. Even if you do gain, it's not the end of the world. And I didn't say turkey will make you gain, so please don't take it as a forgone conclusion. I only know it's not on protocol. Why do you suppose that is, if not for fat content? The L-tryptophan?

Brousher, funny you mentioned that about Bragg's. I made the same assumption. I've had it twice now; I stalled the first time and gained .7 the second. The Bragg's is now in the garbage!

I lost just fine on ground turkey breast; it is leaner than chicken breast.

My own personal theory is that it's just a meat that wasn't readily available in 1950's Italy. *shrugs*

as victrola said: turkey was not common in the 50ies in Europe.
So you really should not worry! relax. go for a walk, pet your dog, hug your husband (can change the priorities ;)) and look forward to what the scale says tomorrow! you´ll be just fine!

I cannot eat turkey as I have a food allergy to it. as soon as I have it (also not on hcg) I get terribly tired and feel just sick. But I definetly would eat it

Yes, I'm assuming 97% fat free ground turkey was especially unavailable in 1950's Italy. I just had some for dinner, and hope it doesn't stall me because it would be really nice to add it to the limited list of lean protein available, and it's so versatile for cooking. I much prefer it to ground beef.
