    wow - I eat at least 2 larabars a day and sometimes the bacon wrapped dates all in the same day. No issues there. I don't think I am sensitive at all to fruits, just any type of grain.....

    So folks, I need an opinion - maybe just to confirm my thoughts.
    I finished R1P2 at 177.6. My TOM started the next day. Almost immediately I dropped 2 lbs, then 3 and hovered about 3.5 lbs under LIW through all of P3. This past week (8 days into P4) I am back up to 176.6. I have been here for 3 days now. My TOM is starting today. So - that being said, my LIW is hard to judge because of the water retention due to TOM, but going by TOM to TOM - looks like I pretty much lost just (1) solid pound during P3 if we go day for day (or day of TOM to day of TOM) Does this thinking make any sense at all? I would say if I weren't going to do another round (which I am starting today) that I would probably see these 3 lbs drop off again due to TOM but then every month they would pop back on.

    I think I've just confused myself.....now my head hurts! I never over analyze anything and here I am analyzing this to death!!! :)

    So - I guess since I am no longer a P3/P4'r it's time to say good bye, I'll stop in and check on y'all once in a while.

    @Nena - :) I can only imagine what was going through your head regarding my name till you put two and two together!!! There are very few lady tandem instructors, maybe 70-80 in the entire US, probably only 50 of us actively do tandems. Men, there are about 400-500 of them - or more. So - I embrace that I can do something that most women skydivers can't hack....even the ones that try it generally only work for a year or two and can't do it anymore. I've been going 5 years and I love it. I love the energy I get from the students. It reminds me of how I felt my first time. er...skydiving that is.... I get such a thrill from sharing my world with others.... The tandemwench came from where I worked a few years ago - a few skydiving centers shared me so when they needed a woman specifically I would get called in - they called me the traveling tandemwench. So - there it is! :)

    2 Larabars in one day- You definitely need to take up making them yourself at $1.12 a piece. It does make me feel better though cause right now I eat 1 a day and would love to have a second for my afternoon snack :)

    Yesterday I went to lunch with one of my Prego friends and she choose Moe's (mexican food) and I just said screw it and had a soft taco with grilled chick/cheese and in a soft tortilla. I had a boiled egg and 2 piece of bacon for breakfast yesterday and ended with a protein shake for dinner. I woke up this morning to a nice 2 lb drop today. So I am 2 lbs below LDW today :) Today is day 19 of P3,, do we do 21 days of P3?

    tandemwench and ok_girl- I eat 2 to 3 of the mini Lara bars every day. Thanks GRammy for being concerned. I ended my P3 at 4.6 lbs under my LIW. I have not had any trouble with food at all during this whole time. I have not ever even come close to me LIW. I am so very thankful that I am that way. I am just blessed I think. :)
    I am going to make my own Lara bars too! I got cherries and apples and am going to dehydrate them a bit first- then make the cherry pie and apple pie ones. I could not find dates at Wal Mart anywhere! I will have to go to my local heath food store. <sigh> they are expensive- since for some reason Trader Joe's wont come to our city...( I guess we are not big enough for them)

    I found dates at a good price at whole foods too.... if you have one? I know a lot of things there are more expensive but....I found almonds, the flours and a few other things were pretty close to normal. I wouldn't shop there daily since their meat and produce were really expensive but other things were almost average.


    Crap - I said I'd be gone for two weeks!!! Ok y'all see ya!!! :)

    that's cool tandemwench! I know someone who is really into skydiving, she twitters about it all the time, different jumps she is doing. I have never tried it, even though I know what tandem means through her! I was thinking, does she ride a bicycle built for two? lol! thanks for explaining, interesting story!

    oh, don't go! I didn't realize when people are done with P4 it is time to leave the site, just when we are getting to know people! but I know it's a busy life. actually it is a good thing, to know that we no longer need a diet and are stabilized.

    oh, lol, maybe you meant you were leaving P4 thread, haha. I thought you were done with the diet, so you were packing up and leaving the forum, wow, does the hcg make me clueless at times? or maybe it was another blonde moment.

    P3 Peanut Butter Cookies- they are a no go!! Yuck :( I was craving something sweet tonight and thought these sounded pretty good. I will not be making them again on any phase!!

    Today is P3D18 .4 lbs below LDW. Was surprised to get on the scale today and not see a big gain. We went and had Chinese food yesterday. I didn't realize when I ordered yesterday that they gave me the wrong item. I ended up with Honey Chicken. By the time I got home with it - it was to late and decided I would just eat some of it and pay the cost. It was basically lightly fried chicken pieces with some sort of honey glaze. I know its just 3 more days till P4 but I was trying to avoid the sugar and starches until then.

    I am having one heck of a time on P3!!! I have been fluctuating up and down. I started it 10 days ago and had a steak day within 4 days. That worked well and brought me down 1.8 pounds... then, steadily increasing!!! Aaaargh! Today, I was up 2.2 pounds OVER LIW - totally not in the mood to do steak day, so I am doing a high protein day - just wish me luck.

    Any tips out there? Could it be nuts & cheese? I had a bit of both yesterday, but maybe a handful of both?

    Here's what I had yesterday that put a +1.5 on my scale!
    Breakfast: 2 eggs + cheese
    Lunch: broccoli slaw with chipotle dressing and chicken breast
    Dinner: green salad with cottage cheese, tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing

    Dessert: 6 strawberries with whipped cream and cocoa crack

    Am I not getting enough to eat, maybe?

    OKAY... this morning, UP another 0.8!! That puts me at 3.0 OVER!!! Yikes! Looks like a definite Steak Day today. Here's what I had yesterday:

    Breakfast: eggs + chai tea (with milk)
    Lunch: 1 cup of cottage cheese + 1/2 apple
    Snack: 1/2 cup cottage cheese
    Dinner: 2 chicken breasts with lettuce (thai lettuce wraps)

    Thought I had enough protein... still confused!
