This is for all of us starting P3 in July. A peaceful place full of support and encouragement. A place to share, vent, ask questions and anything that is needed. Congratulations to everyone on your losses and good luck stabilizing.

Today is my last day of drops, really worried about starving the next two days. However am willing to be hungry for a few to keep this weight off. Can not wait for cheese. Does anyone know where to find sugar free chocolate chips? This diet is a lifesaver. Clothes I never thought I would fit in again are now to big for me. LOL! Oh well guess that means I have to go buy new clothes! Hope you are all doing great and enjoying the fireworks tonight in celebration of our independence and your achievement.

So I was doing the Hhcg drops and the only references I have at my disposal is the online download of Pounds and Inches and this site... I have a few questions, maybe someone has the answers. Yes in P3 no sugar or starch.

I have read that some fruits (grapes and bananas)and vegetables should be avoided in P3. What are they?

Is Malt O Meal ok in P3?

What nuts are ok in P3? (Almonds, peanuts, cashews, walnuts or pecans)

Pinto Beans in P3? Really want some pinto beans and green chilli.

What about all the sugar free products that are out there? All of them have products that end in ose in them. Isn't that just a derivative of sugar, and therefor should be avoided?

If chocolate has sugar in it how can we we have so called sugar free chocolates? Are they any good? What are your favorites?

    Sugar free pudding mixes?

Has anyone seen a box mix for sugar free brownies?

Best sugar substitute to cook and bake with? Any success stories or recipes any one cares to share with all of us?

    What is the red book?

Does anyone have a .pdf or link for instructions for P3 they will share with all of us?

So many questions sorry. Hopefully you guys have the answers and many people will be helped.

I did a search yesterday of "how not to do a steak day" or something like that and it was full on info on P3. I can tell you that malt'o meal and pinto beans will have to wait till P4 they are carbohydrates. Most SF products are loaded with things we shouldn't put in our bodies so most of them are a no. I went to a health food store near me(an hour away) and saw some sugar free brownie mix but the problem with them it that they are made for people who need gluten free things and they contain rice flour(a carbohyrate). I was looking at another thread earlier about a chocolate cake recipe good for P3. You might could use that to substitue for brownies. As far as chocolate goes if you used cocoa that is in powder form it only contains cocoa.(example Hershey's Cocoa & it states on the container Natural Unsweetened) I think most people use Xylitol as a sweetner to cook with. From reading recipes on here I have just assumed this. Again a search would give you some P3 recipes. Whisper me your email and I will try to forward a cookbook I got from Or-cowgirl. I don't know about the sugarfree pudding mixes and the red book. Oh and I really don't know about the nuts. I will try almonds in a few days not sure when. Oh and the chocolate mousse really tastes good, I have been wanting something chocolate. I used 1 cup of heavy cream and had to half it with my husband. (Sorry about the long post.)
