Hi all, I started my second round of HCG earlier this year, and after two days of loading plus one LCD day, I ended up having emergency gall bladder surgery. I didn't notice any GB problems before this, including my first round. I'd like to do another round to lose my last 20-25 pounds. Has anyone tried the protocal after GB removal, and if so, and suggestions for loading? I haven't tried really fatty food since the surgery but tried a burger and fries last week and didn't have any problems so I think I may be ready. It's been four months since surgery.
I had my gallbladder removed about 6 years ago. (Never had stones or such, it just stopped working.) Since then I've had continual issues with my digestiion - until I started Hcg. Go figure! For me I think it was the gluten and such that I had been eating causing the issues.
For loading, I'd focus on the less greasy fats - nuts, avocados, seeds, fish, etc. Try cooking something with coconut oil...high fat, but not greasy processed fat!
My gallbladder was removed about 3 years ago and have had alot of problems so much would/will make me sick. I figured that was just a part of the deal I couldn't do nothing about. Wrong! I did one round of hcg and I wasn't sick. It obviously all the bad things I was eating that didn't agree with me even juice etc. So now i'm off vlcd and now I'm sick again. So positive is that the diet doesn't hurt you any and if you have similar issues like me you would do better:) hope it made sense I normally don't cause I'm everywhere.
I had mine out at the first of the year. I was warned that I would be running to the bathromm everytime I ate a fatty meal but I bever had this issue until I started hcg and the first 7-8 days of vlcd I was running like crazy to make it in time. I guess(hope) it was the hcg releasing fat.
Theoretically, several months after having your gall bladder removed, the body adjusts. I had my gall bladder out Years ago,and actually starting the VLCD made me slow. For loading days, I didn't have an issue. But I agree that I think I had a gluten problem. The fat being released by the Hcg is being absorbed, not dumped into your intestinal tract.
I had my GB out after just 1 attack - but it was a doosey that sent me to the ER. Anyway, I recently started having issues of getting sick right after eating. Still trying to figure out my triggers. I think it may be alcohol which is fine because I'm not much of a drinker anyway. I'm waiting for my HCG to arrive any day so I can started on this weight loss program. Hoping I don't have any GB related issues. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Thanks for answering. I will order some and give it a go. I'm a little worried about the side effects of loading with the fat, but I will load on a weekend in case I can't leave the house. :-(
I had my gallbladder out in October and have had zero issues with food. My Dr put me on a "regular" diet the morning after surgery in the hospital...since then I never watch what I eat. With loading I also had no problems with my galbladder (just hard to load with HCg in my body). What did you Dr say?
