    Hi Everyone...

I'm traveling from Miami to Spain while on P2 and was wondering how do I take my HCG and needles w/ me?
Carry on? Checked baggage? (about 16 hrs after my 1 hr. layover in Paris)

Also, how should I pack it? I read on here that the HCG cannot be iced as the protein is very fragile and could be damaged.

Would it be easier to just buy all new hcg unmixed and take it w/ me and start the whole mixing process there?

    Help!

    Thanks :-)

I have a lot of questions before I would even venture an opinion. When did you start? What VLCD day are you on? How long are you going to be gone? are just a few questions I have.

I have been on a 13-hour international flight and in my opinion it would be very difficult to manage your shots. The airports are so jumpy about anything sharp, and since you are not diabetic (or I'm thinking you're not) I doubt they'll let you on the plane with your needles.

So, I'm thinking a planned interruption might be the best way to go. Just know that I'm not an expert. Then you could just take all new hcg unmixed with you and mix it up and go on with your VLCD phase. I'm not sure how long your interruption could be, but surely it would be long enough to cover your flight time plus a day or so to regroup and begin again.

Good luck and hope your journey is something fun and not due to something sad.

    Gloria

Have you checked the tsa.gov site yet? I'm guessing diabetics and others must travel with needles, so it may be allowed, as well as an insulated cooler bag for storage.

I live in Europe part of the year so i travel back and forth alot. By the time i travel, I will be on my 2nd week of R2P2. i don't have a problem putting everything into my suitcase and checking it i am just wondering about the HCG. Doesn't it have to be cooled, not frozen?
Also, i will be gone for at least 3 months and hopefully by then I will be done w/ my diet and at my goal weight :-)
I did check the TSA.gov site and they require a prescription to travel w/ anything that is a drug out of the US. I'm not sure about Paris and Spain. they are so complicated sometimes....
Thanks for your help and I think what I am going to end up doing is just calling them and asking.
    Thanks!

For the umpteenth time, anyone can travel with needles..

    *rolls eyes*

It's the refridgeration and customs that you really have to worry about. I'm not sure where you are on your protocol, but you could always try hhcg as it doesn't need to be refridgerated, doesn't require a prescription, and is simple to take (no needles).

Except that I wouldn't change methods in the middle of a round. RX and hhcg work VERY differently. :-(

I'd take enough to get me through the trip then remix once I got there because it would probably be tough to keep it cool.
