I have eaten out quite a few times. My fav "go-to" meal is: shrimp coctail (eat with lemon no sauce) and lettuce salad with lemon over..maybe tomatoes chopped ..of if they have pico de gallo I use that as dressing, Iced tea and I bring my stevia. I get that same "mix' for salad, if no shrimp, I get grilled chicken and say no oil or anything on it. Most places I have eaten, chicken appears to be dry grilled, and I have not gained after any of my outings.
I second the salads from Chipotle! I have had those (chicken and steak) several times on P2 without issue and they are very satisfying!
For those of you saying that she should wait until P3 to eat out..... while that is a lofty idea, there are many of us that don't have that as an option. I travel quite a bit for work and have throughout this whole thing and have gone to many client dinners throughout this diet and you just have to make it work! I have no other option. Yes, I may sound like Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally (no oil, dressing on the side, substitute asparagus for the broccoli, yada yada yada) and that is embarrasing to me, but I have learned to not make it a big deal and not flip out about what to eat. Most (but not all) of the restaurants we go to are really nice and there's always something I can eat.
