So we usually do a cheat day, and today is that day. I've done really good on my diet and I am back in the weight loss game. I have no intention on cheating at all, but is there any place that you have gone to get dinner that you didn't cook? And what do you usually get to eat when you do go out? Also my birthday is on Tuesday and we are actually getting a babysitter, so this would be really helpful for that day too.

    Thanks!

When I go out I usually get grilled steak with a plain lettuce salad with tomatoes, or a salad (with tomato) and grilled chicken, you could also get a burger and not eat the bun. I usually ask for vinegar and oil on the side and just use the vinegar. Its usually really good, I don't feel deprived, and no one really notices that I'm eating sort of weird.

I know this isn't what you're looking for, but... in the interest of offering genuine advice... I would suggest waiting until P3, where your options are much greater, if only because you cannot be sure that your P2 needs will be met by the average server/cook... most everything is cooked in oil and it's impossible to count calories, unless you carefully examine nutritional information (if it's offered). It sucks, I know. :( My household used to eat out 2 or 3 times a week and have had to cut that all back to nothing now... Not for -too- much longer though! :)

Yup, I suggest waiting too. You just never know how they season, what oils they use, etc. I know that's not what you were looking for, but for me personally, just better and easier to eat at home first, or pack a bag. I ate many a cold 100grams of chicken last month! :)

This is tough. I struggle with the same thing and now my husband wil be on vacation for two weeks, so It will be really hard. I keep telling myself it is only for 40days well now 30 and when i did cheat it just made me crave it more so it was like a binge and that was not good. I have lost 8lbs in 10 days so this is what keeps me going....

Hey there! This may not sound like "birthday" food, but I found the kids grilled chicken portion with steamed broccoli at Chili's worked great for me and was tasty. I also ordered the same from Olive Garden off of their healthy menu or maybe the kids menu with their salad and no dressing.
My favorite "out" meal is the salad bowl at Chipotle. I get the lettuce, barbacoa, and pico. It is sooooo yummy and have never had a gain after any of these meals. I don't usually mix veggies but on these occassions I will.

Went out to eat with my HB last week and did some research and decided that Applebees with their WW meals was the best bet. Not sure if you have those around you. Ordered the Cajun Tilapia (which as far as I could tell, did not have any oils or sugars…just Cajun seasoning and grilled and just ate what I thought was 100gs) with no rice and extra steamed broccoli (only thing I have cheated on since broccoli is not on the original protocol) with absolutely nothing on it. A little plain but so great to be able to find somewhere that has a decent option. Still lost that day, so I was happy!
