So after careful consideration, lots of tears, and no support from anyone who knows me, I have decided against another round of hcg. :-( It was a hard decision for me because I feel I have a serious need for the rush that I get when I am in P2 of watching the scale go down every morning, but I only have 10 pounds, MAYBE, that I could lose and not look like I have an eating disorder. I have done 6 1/2 weeks of P3 hell and have stabilized at about 4 pounds over LIW. Anyway I am ready I think to test out the P4 waters that I have NEVER tried in 3 long rounds of hcg. My main concern is I have no idea what to start adding in now. I am petrified to add things back in actually. So I really need to know what people add back in at first while they are entering P4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am very lost!!
sharshcg....I am pretty much in your same shoes about another round of hcg...I only have about 10lbs to lose as well...and as much as I want to do it...my family says I have lost enough weight and that I should be done with it...they said I am becoming obsessive with it and out of control! PLEASE!! I can easily lose 10lbs and still look normal. Anyways i'm giving it until the end of August to tone up and drop a few or a short round here I come...support or not!!
So P4...the first thing I added was a multi grain english muffin with natural peanut butter...I figured if I was gonna eat carbs I would do it first thing in the morning and have the day to burn it off. I really don't eat carbs or sugars now unless there is some type of occasion or I go out for dinner. I really don't need the carbs and don't want to get addicted to them again.

disp29: I have toatlly heard the "you are obsessed" so many times in the last week. I figure if they could see me naked they would be more supportive. lol Anyway, I have added Oatmeal without any huge gains so I am now just wondering what to add from here. I am allergic to wheat and soy so it eliminates a ton of stuff! I am hungry for camping food! Maybe some dutch oven potatoes next weekend!@!! I am also giving myself until school resumes in August to see if it is warranted. I almost want to sabotage myself sometimes just so I can be justified, but I am not going to!!
I focused on adding root veggies in first - carrots, potatoes, etc. Just focus on the complex carbs...and leave the simple ones (i.e. sugar, chips, etc.) for later down the road and then only on occasion. Just go slow as you did (I hope) in P3. Don't forget to drink your water!
I do the same as Robbi. Root veggies first then I try corn then oatmeal then rice. my family didn't want me to do another round either but I started one on Wed. I know I have more fat to lose and it's GOING! :-) Colleen
I wish so badly I was doing another round, but I will definetly not be starting. Not unless I turn into a fatty before School starts. Anyway, I have had oatmeal for 3 days and so far no huge gain to be seen. I guess if tomorrow the scale is still kind to me I will try some potatoes for breakfast. I do miss foods, but I am still scared to eat!
For me, it works best to keep fats and carbs separate. So for your potatoes tomorrow - don't have bacon or sausage. Make sense? You can still have fats..but do so without carbs. Example, if you have a big rib-eye for dinner eat veggies/salad and not a baked potato.
