    Hi Everyone~
I started P3 on Friday. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast and 2 cups of coffee with half n half (mmmm!). I did not get hungry for a snack and by lunch time I was still not hungry, but I had some greek yogurt with strawberries and a few crushed almonds. I had about 4.5 oz of steak for dinner with grilled onion. And I was full.

We had to travel on Friday night into Sat (drove all night). Stopped and had breakfast. I had a cheese omelet, a piece of bacon and 2 cups of coffee. Snack was some almonds. Never got hungry for lunch (and we drove all day on Sat). Dinner I had a salad with a little bit of guac, grilled chicken, cheese and some sugar free salad dressing.

I am having the hardest time eating! I am simply *not* hungry. Do I force myself to eat? I weighed this morning (couldn't yesterday as we were on the road) and was up 1 lb. And here I was, all through p2 dreaming about what I would eat in p3. Now that I am here I can't/don't want it. What gives?

You just have to give it a few more days and keep adding calories. Your body is used to more calories than you've been eating. It will work out. BTW cannot WAIT for my P3 in 3 weeks...

Hi swtpeach - that's pretty common. I'm starting week 3 of P3 and still am not very hungry, but it has gotten much better since week 1. The first week was very difficult to eat. I ended up adding a protein shake in the morning, even though I wasn't hungry, but I knew I needed to get some calories and protein in. I can drink them if I'm not "hungry".

Don't force feed yourself, but you need to try to eat enough so you don't go into starvation mode. It will come back little by little.

    Good luck and enjoy P3!

you don't need to force feed- but i would be concerned with your food choices. eggs, cheese and nuts all on day one could be a problem. by the time you get to a normal number of calories you might be gaining, so i'd watch your weight closely.

missesrita has a great point about the shakes - the Jay Robb shakes from Whole Foods are amazing - no fat & lots of protein. I would mix one with fresh fruit if you absolutely can't eat - you want to make sure you keep lots of protein on board - not enough protein can make you gain

My weight is good. Was up one lb the day after my trip, but I drank very little and ate poorly.

Your appetite will increase. I would be careful with the cheese and nuts. They have made me gain!
