So, today is day 2 of P3 and I had no weight gain. I added cheese yesterday. May I go ahead and proceed with an egg today or should I just eat more
cheese today along with meat and vegies and fruit? Again, thanks for your input!

Mmm..isnt that first piece of cheese just decadent?!! Congrats on your results, if your tummy felt good after you ate it, and you didnt gain id say go for something else new.

Some only add something new every few days but I am currently just entering P3 again myself and I give my body a day, but I also pay attention to how i "feel" after I eat it :)

Thanks Mom....my tummy felt just ok.....I was so bloated last night and today I'm all gurgly....I can hear my tummy grumbling! I loved how flat and "unbothered" my tummy was in P2!
And yes....I had havarti cheese yesterday and it was decadent! LOL
I think I'll stick with more cheese today and give myself time to adjust before I add something else. I think I might go to GNC and see about digestive enzymes today.
    Thanks for the help!

Bloat and gurgly....welcome to P3! :) That's pretty normal, might want to add a digestive enzyme the first week or two of P3 - they made a huge difference for me! (There are days I looked and felt 4 months pregnant from the bloat!) UGH!

Sounds like you are on track, I would say try eggs today, but then wait another day to see as remember - even in P3 it can take 2 days to show a gain, but I think if you have a sensativity, it would be the next day and it would be a larger gain than just half or a whole pound.

    Good luck and enjoy!

Missesrita I'm going to GNC first thing this morning for those enzymes! When I went to bed last night I looked like I was 6 months pregnant!!! I hated it! I'm sure it takes a few days for the tummy to calm down a bit, but in the meantime.....enzymes, enzymes, enzymes!! LOL

LOL Exactly!! I take one with lunch every day, and some times with dinner if it's beef. Lord knows I can digest chicken and fish! :)

I also take a probiotic at bed time ("Pearls") but not sure what exactly I would be feeling if I didn't take them vs. taking them. I've just read that alot of people take them so figured it can't hurt. I did post a question about it but never got an answer.

But YES...DIGESTIVE ENZYMES are the best! :)

I found that while the HCG was in my system, gains would show up the very next day. Once the HCG was out of my system, it would take a couple days. I added potatoes in yesterday; actually down on the scale today, but I don't trust it one bit, yet. Tomorrow will be most telling.
Missesrita, from what I understand, probiotics are not something you will necessarily "feel" a difference while taking. They serve several purposes; replacing the good flora in your gut, aiding in keeping the digestive system running smoothly, reducing inflammation, etc. Digestive enzymes would be first priority, with the probiotics as a complement. I, like you, am doing everything I can to keep things running smoothly during this phase when I'm adding things back in; probiotics, digestive enzymes, supplements...and lots of prayer. ;-)

Thanks Krystan! That's what I thought, but just wanted to hear from someone else who takes them. :) One thing I learned from P2 - I'll do whatever I can to keep things running smoothly in the digestion area. And I agree....digestive enyzmes priority 1.

    thank you! :)

So, you all are saying I should take probiotics and enzymes? Any suggestions for the probiotics?

    For sure enzymes.

For probiotics, I bought "Pearls" from GNC. Only reason I chose them is they had good reviews on amazon.com.

They both help your digestive environment, enzymes help break things down, probiotics do too, but in a different way (by replenishing the good flora).
