Okay, I just got back from a five day trip to Texas (I was in a wedding). I'm in P3. I did my best not to cheat but on the wedding day it was impossible because it was a frantic day and I ended up eating whatever my friend provided. Needless to say I knew that I had gained. So on my travel day back home (which was yesterday) I did a steak day. While I traveled I just drank a ton of fluids and when I got home my husband already had my steak waiting for me! I weighed myself this morning and I'm still 4 pounds above my LIW. I'm planning on doing an egg day today and possibly another steak day tomorrow. Do you think I've messed myself up for stabilizing? When I left for my trip I was six days into P3. I just hope I didn't mess myself up! Anyone have any words of advice or any thoughts? Thank you!!!
I would do a couple high protein days...steak days don't seem to work very well when several are done together. Just eat as clean as you can, high protein (meats are best) and some veggies, all the water you can. It'll come back down :)
I agree with Grammy... it's probably water weight from the traveling - not to mention the Texas heat! Protein days will get you back where you need to be!!!
Yes...the heat was horrible! Ugh. Thanks everyone! I will do high protein days until I can get the extra weight off! I just hope I can stabilize at my LIW! I only lost 13 pounds on a 26 day round so I can't afford to gain! :/ Thanks so much for the support!!!
Just thought I'd update... I did a high protein day yesterday. I ate eggs (6), 1 oz of mozzerella cheese, a protein shake, and a salad with turkey, eggs, avocado, and dressing on it and lots of water. I woke up this morning and was 2 lbs lighter! yaye!!! So now I'm only 2 pounds over my LIW! I'm doing another high protein day today and will keep doing them until I'm back at my LIW. Thanks for all the help everyone! I hope I can keep doing well. My birthday is this Friday and next weekend I'm in another wedding so there are a lot of "food opportunities" this month! Eeek!
