Do people continue to lose lbs during those last three days typically?

I'm on VLCD 15 and have lost 12.8 lbs. I am so grateful, but things are slowing down quite a bit. Since I'm obsessed with this diet, I'm plotting how much I could expect to lose. I'm only on a 30 day cycle (via my doctor) but will likely extend it to the 40 days to see if I can lose more.

Also, if I'm stalling here and there but still in ketosis, does that mean that I'm still doing things right for the most part? I was REALLY hoping to lose 25 lbs during R1 and then try to lose the next 5lbs I need to drop through diet and exercise in P3.

I seem to bounce down about another 3 lbs during those 3 days at the end of R1, but then it comes right back. I'm just glad I've been able to get my weight to stick to my LDW pretty closely.

Averytx... during my first round I did lose on those last 3 days but on round 2 I didn't. I'm guessing you're close to goal weight which means you'll lose at a slow pace the closer you get. Your results have been great though - almost 13 pounds in 15 day!!! Yippee!

Some people do go into ketosis on this diet while others do not. It's not mentioned anywhere in the protocol so its hard to say if ketosis plays any role at all in losing the correctly with Hcg. One thing though, you DON'T want to try and lose weight in P3! If you still have that last 5 pounds to lose wait until you're out of P3/P4 then exercise away! During P3 you need you body to learn to maintain that weight on its own.

Thanks, Robbi! I didn't know that about exercise in P3/P4 for some reason! And thanks for the encouragement. I am kind of disappointed that it looks like I'm going to be about 10 lbs short (if I'm lucky), but this is so much faster than anything else I could have done, I will not feel sorry for myself.
