    Okay, so I did 43 days of HCG.Started at 211, ended at 173. Finished a week ago, but my birthday weekend fell into play so I had a few cocktails and a few starches, it was seriously like 2 corn tortillas, but not anything like big huge meals. I even ran 2 miles the day of my birthday and drank 3 liters of water that day and have gained 7lbs!!!!! I was told I can't go back on for 6 weeks. Will a steak day really help with 2 lbs. or 7lbs. I've been exercising now and drinking water! I might be retaining SOME water, but this is bad news! Help!

    Try doing a series of high protein days...steak days only help the day after you notice the gain...

    Did you go p 7 lbs in one day...today? yva is right you need to do it the day after you go over LDW. If it has been more then today you should try high protein.

    Morgy, first - losing 38 lbs is fantastic! Good for you! I'll bet the 7 lbs. is water weight, and as yva and catnip suggest high protein will probably do the trick.
    Be patient and have faith those 7 lbs will come off. I think it is most unlikely to gain 7 lbs of fat over a weekend. At 3500 calories a pound,
    that would be 24,500 calories that you would have to eat. Keep the faith!...and drink that water...(as I remind myself, too) : )
    AND - don't forget how well you've done!!! (And BTW Happy Birthday!)
