So, I stabilized easily at my LDW in P3 and had NO issues w/ adding new foods. In P4, I'm pretty much eating the same as P3, with the exception of adding a starch (ex.oatmeal) a few days a week for breakfast. HOWEVER....my weight is starting to creep back up! I'm about to go crazy! I've done a few steak days and it takes my weight down and then I'm right back up!
I have gone back to my rigorous workout schedule-- 5-6 days a week high intensity. That's really the biggest change I've made in phase 4. I worked out P2 and P3 much at a MUCH, MUCH less intensity. Could that possibly be causing my weight gain? Should I continue w/ steak/high protein days until the weight comes back down?
Exercise can cause weight gains...both in muscle mass and just water weight. The later, water weight, is usually to blame with intense workouts because the muscle are recovering.
