Just curious if it was difficult for people to notice your weight-loss since you are tall. I'm 5'11" and I've lost about 25lbs in a 23 day cycle...but I feel like nobody will notice the weight I've lost. It doesn't matter, but just wondering if it's the same for anybody else who is tall too?

I never took measurements of myself, so I'm not even sure how many inches I lost...?

I'm 5'11" as well - am close to 100 pounds lost now with 30 to go or so still - it took to about 50 pounds lost before anyone said anything...but I was VERY overweight! Keep at it and do it for you!

Aimes, don't worry if people don't comment on your weight loss. I've discovered that some folks are very reluctant to mention it for fear of making you think they thought you were fat before! I know, it's stupid; but I have seen two of my friends retort with "geez, I must have looked bad before!" when I told them how great they looked with their new haircuts. Go figure.

I have also noticed that people don't start commenting on my weight loss until I start wearing smaller clothes. For some reason wearing the old stuff, even though it is falling off my body, seems to hide the loss.

I am 5' 7" tall and started this program with 90 lbs to lose. I'm down 30, and people are just now starting to mention that I look good. Very few folks will actually ask whether I'm losing weight! And I know that having lost 1/3 of my excess tonnage HAS to show. Just stick with it and know that it is working! Congratulations on such a marvelous loss, also.

I'm 5'10" (feeling short - haha) and I lost about 50 pounds before anyone said anything... I still have about 30 pounds to go.

I am 5'8" and I was down close to 18 lbs. before someone told me my face looked thinner...I was so THANKFUL that someone finally noticed!! But that was also someone I don't see all the time. Most of the people I see all the time, didn't really notice!!

5'9" here, my husband noticed right away.....
No one else has said a thing though - except one lady in my office who knew.
I've lost 27 lbs so far. I have 20 to go.....but still figured it would be a lot more noticeable....especially when I walk around HOLDING my pants up!!! (I refuse to buy new till I am finished!)

It took a long time for my co-workers and family to notice, and yes I am almost 5'11 and just now after 77lbs are people reacting as if i am just now losing. I asked the physical therapist how much does it look like I have lost? she said 35-40 pounds!! I did not dispute her. It is kinda painful that being that we are tall the impact if slower to be noticed.

I guess this is pay-back for being able to "carry" more weight because of our height???

This is so encouraging! Me too, me too. I am 5'9" and have lost 25 pounds, which is what I gained with baby #2 (7 months old). No one has noticed outside of my sisters and husband, and even then it's usually "I can totally tell in your face!". I have 50 more to go (achem, baby #1) at least. And my gaol weight is easily 20 pounds over what others would want - I just have no desire to be "thin", just healthy and whatever is right for my body.

Anyway, glad I'm not alone...I mean 25 POUNDS is crazy amazing!!!

I am 5'10" and around 45-50 lbs lost and just recently started getting comments from anyone besides my family. My husband noticed big time at about 20 lbs but he sees my body more (obviously) and we're very affectionate, so he could feel it more than see it.
It took closer to 40-50 for anyone else to notice.

Most people have no problem asking if I've lost weight, I haven't really had the issue where people won't ask. But there are some people in my life that haven't acknowledged it, which is really strange, because it's very obvious, none of my old clothes fit, so it's really strange for them to ignore it. Oh well, some people are weird.

hang in there, it will happen!
