So I went camping with my family for 3 days. And can I say, NEVER go camping for 3 days with salt water taffy. I am in P4, so it was legal, but should be illegal. I left at 144.2 and came back 147.6. I did a steak day when I came home, forgetting that it might not work because my weight was probably up the day before. But I lost 1.4 lbs anyway. I did a high protein day yesterday, and usually lose about 2 lbs, but did not lose anything. I ate eggs for breakfast, they work for me on protein days, chicken caesar salad w/ no dressing for lunch and a hamburger with lettuce and tomato and NO bun for dinner. Have never done hamburger for protein day. Do you think that is what didn't work for me? And is okay for me to do another high protein day today (minus hamburger)? Thanks for help. Oh, yes I did drink alot. Always do.
Can you give me some ideas on what else I should add? My salad was huge, even my husband had one and was stuffed to where he didn't want dinner. And the hamburger was about 1/2 lb. Is it okay to do another protein day today?
The salad may have been huge but usually there isn't much chicken in a caesar salad. I try to eat every 2-3 hours on a high protein day and get in at least 4-6 oz each of those times.
I just did 2 sort of high protein days in a row and lost almost 5 lbs.
The first day I ate nothing until dinner and then had 3 tacos--shells made out of cheese, filled with ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, and a touch of salsa.
The second day, I ate grilled chicken tenders for lunch and then a chef salad for dinner--made out of greens, tomatoes, cheese, natural deli meats, some other veggies and some homemade ranch. I also had 2 very small breakfast steaks because I had them and wanted to get rid of them...and I figured I'd need the extra protein.
I think I successful because I ate no fruit, too. I don't care for steak, so this worked out much better for me.There certainly is something magical about Protein Days!
Thats great! How many grams of protein do you eat on your protein days? I eat about 100 grams on non-protein days...aslo does the amount of fat you eat matter....my protein is good everyday but my fat is about 100 grams too.....is this going to be a problem? Also,my carbs are around 40-50 ( all from natural veggies and fruit) and 30-35 sugars, same all natural.... is this okay?
