That is the best way to describe what just happened to me. I was bending over the trash can to pick it up and take it outside and when I stood up there were these white light things floating around my head, like fire embers I was a bit light headed too. Is this something anyone else has had happen? I am wondering if it is maybe a low blood sugar type thing? Maybe low iron?

It's probably low blood pressure from what you describe. That can happen sometimes. Maybe increase your salt some. If you are on high blood pressure meds, they probably need adjusted.

I have always had low-ish blood pressure, that might be it. Thanks!

Just stand up slowly. Make sure you're not drinking TOO much water. And try increasing your salt a bit.

do tingly fingers fall into the low blood pressure category? This is kind of freaking me out...

Thanks! Normally I would just go with the flow, but my DH is away on a training mission and it is just me and the 3 little kids. Thanks Grammy!

Yes, all this sounds about right...

I've always run a bit low on blood pressure too (30 year old female). I suppose it's better than the other problem ;) but can be just as troublesome.

As Grammy said, stand up SLOWLY, make absolutely sure that you're getting enough protein. I am (was?) a vegetarian, on my first round of P2, and after going a while with low energy and sorta light-headedness, mild hunger, stalling even after an apple day... I did some research. For my body weight, I wasn't getting half enough protein! I started supplementing my protein with one serving of chicken per day and Sun Warrior protein shakes. Bam. Energy back, most light-headedness gone, feel more awake, not hungry, and the losses have started up again! .6-1.4 a day, since the change!

    Good luck to you. :)

Thanks Grammy and Miara! I had some cucumbers with sea salt last night, it took a little while, but I felt better before bed. I had felt a bit weak, sluggish yesterday and I thought it might be my iron levels so I had beef for lunch and dinner. The extra salt and beef didnt seem to slow anything, I went from 141 to 139.8 this morning!
