    Why is it SO hard to not crave things when you are on your period? I am craving SALT. This happens at least once a month during my visit from my unfriendly Aunt Flo. I need salt. I do not usually use salt on any foods but it seems since I am limited to what I can intake I am over salting my protien and veggies. It is ok to do that? I know its not good to oversalt anything at anytime but for the next 3-5 days I am going to be over salting everything.

    So far I am down 10.6 pounds in 7 days. I am hoping that I will be down between 5 and 10 the next weigh in.

    Salt is fine, you just have to make sure you drink plenty of water to balance it out.....

    I am drinking so much water I sometimes feel I am going to float my way through the day. The one thing I am greatful for is this. I actually thought I would be using the restroom more, but I am using it about the same. YAY

    Hey....... I have a crazy busy schedule that prevents me from being on here for a few days. But here's the update today I am suppose to start P4 I have been in 165.something for about a week now!!!! YEAH My LIW is 165.2 today I was 165.8 so I am doing AWESOME! I have successfully added almonds and other true nuts, not peanuts because they are a legume and I have an intolerance to them. I am not sure what to add back in as far as starches go and sugar I would LOVE some Chili but it is all full of sugar. I will surf the forum for a successful p4 round. This is my first successful P3 after 3 rounds *cartwheels and jumping for joy* So I have never even done P4, PLEASE PRAY for me :)

    THANK YOU GRAMMY for all your help! I am on my way I can lose only 20lbs and that is my normal adult weight or I can could lose up to 40 more lbs but I have never ever weighed that and that is by BMI on websites.
    Any comments or advice ooohhhh sssooo welcomed!

    Way to go Trying that is so awesome. You need to come over and learn the new thread. Most have moved overnow and It is getting easier to find my way around after about a week!!!!!

    Glad your doing well with p3. I am P4 Day 5 now and today down 1.2 after a sort of steak day. (I had some lunch at a church social yesterday; which I wasn't going to eat at, and then some nuts (no peanuts) when I came home and then my steak. Now I am over my LDW by 1.6 instead of 2.8 so I am back in the safe zone. My LDW is 163.6 and today I am 165.2.

    Michelem: Salt is just fine for p2 thank goodness as I am like you; I need my SALT!!!!! As for water if I weight 160 then I would take the first two numbers and divide it by 2 which means I need 8 cups of water a day. You may be drinking too much water. You should only need about 2 litres a day, 3 at most.

    p4 day 6 down .6 so only 1lb over ldw.
