I would first like to say Hello to everyone & also congrats to all of you who have lost weight on this program. I am not on the HCG program as of right now, but I will be seeing the DR. on July 20th to start my HCG injections along with an appetite suppressant. As it stand right now I need to lose 50 lbs bringing me back down to 125 but only if I look healthy otherwise 130-135 will be fine as well. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now because I'm really not a good cook & when I have to figure out how much Vegetables or fruit I can have with a meal I start to worry. So I thought it would be a great idea to go ahead & find a cookbook to help me through this program but once again I am not having much luck. I have found lots of cookbooks out there for oral HCG & come to find out from what they say is people on oral get to have more Vegetables & fruits with each meal, but is there a cookbook out there for injection HCG in terms I can understand (i.e HCG injection cookbook for dummies) I know that if it is put in plan simple terms I will be able to follow anything.
As it stands right now I don't understand much about this program nor do I understand the p1-p4 levels I see all of you talking about, heck I can't even find my way around this website (I'm sure I will learn LOL). So any help, any advice, or help finding this magical cookbook would most definitely be appreciated.
Thanks for listening & any advice you may have for me.
Hi KC. Congrats on choosing hcg... you will love the results.
First, please read "Pounds and Inches". It will tell you what and how much to eat. There is a link on the left side of the page. P1 = Kevin Trudeau's cleanse and not required P2 = Very low calorie diet (VLCD) when you take drops or injections P3 = Stabilization when you eat whatever you want except sugar and starch P4 = Maintenance when you slowly add back sugar and starch
Second, there is no difference in what you eat whether you inject or take hcg orally. Who ever told you that is misinformed.
Here is a cookbook for you: "101 Worry-Free HCG Recipes Plus Hints and Tips from Experts". You can download it here: http://freehcgrecipes.com/uploads/A_...reatespace.pdf
If you would like more recipes, copy & paste this link: http://174.121.226.204/hcgdietforums/forumdisplay.php/7-hCG-Diet-Recipes
You really don't have to do much cooking. You can steam or bake your meat, or "fry" it in some fat-free, sugar-free broth, or water with lemon and garlic. Steam your veggies or eat them raw.
I also see the doc on July 20th - so nice to have a buddy to start the same day! I, too, am not a big cook. My nutritionist started me on a Ketogenic Diet as prep for the sublingual spray to start on July 21st. From adding fat (olive & coconut oil) to my diet, I have already lost 9 lbs & look about 20 lbs lighter from the loss of inflammation. Can't wait to get started & glad to not be alone!
Wow, thanks for the wonderful & helpful links & tips. I just know that if I have recipes to follow I will do so much better then trying to figure this out on my own. Well I had better start reading up & getting my list together because I know the first day is going to be really hard because I have to fast for blood work & buy the time I get home it will be 16 hours before I have anything in my tummy ;(
that helped so much!! one question i could not find grissini melba toast so i have been eating the old london brand....it has no sugars whatsoever..so is that ok or is that bad??
