    I am on R1P2VCLD16. I was losing well, but hungry, so I tried tweaking my dosage of rx hcg (nasal spray). That was a mistake. When I went down, I was even hungrier. When I went up, I was still hungry, but stopped losing. Seriously. I have lost a total of 15 pounds, but only 1 of them in the last week. The last 5 days, I have been up and down the same .2 to .4 pounds. I could scream! I have not cheated, I have not eaten anything off protocol, and I always eat my max protein.

    Other than an apple day, is there anything I can do? Or just ride it out? Or what?!

    Forgot to add...
    I am drinking LOTS. Every day I have:
    1 LARGE (about 12 oz) cup black tea (but only one tea bag)
    1 LARGE cup Yerba Mate tea
    1 LARGE cup Smooth Move tea
    about 60 - 80 oz water
    1 quart (32 oz) green tea (but only 2 tea bags)

    Today I weigh 220 pounds... STILL!

    Things are "moving" just fine. Nowhere near TOM (that was a week and a half ago!) Definitely not pregnant.

    I'm stalling too and it's making me crazy! The other people that started the same time as me have lost WAY more than me. I've not cheated-hardly ever do the melba toast. I'll stay the same for 4 days then drop a little then stall again for another 3-4 days. This last week I didn't even lose any inches! Measuring has always been what saved me from quitting each week but this time I didn't even see a loss there. I was wondering about an apple day too. If so, how many apples are we supposed to do? And absolutely nothing else besides our water? Is that right?

    6 apples spread out through the day and only enough water to quench your thirst. This is to help break a stall because it releases any water retention, however, some tend to gain it back since it is really just water released, but it's always worth a try to see that number drop again.

    I'm stalling too - but I'm going to ride this out - P&I say that an apple day is 'pyschological' - it also says that a plateau is typical on the second half of a round - and it will correct itself. I'm banking on that :) - apple days seem like torture to me when I'm already hungry.

    You shouldn't be hungry Janeen... you said you lowered your dose and then increased it....where are you now? Back on the original dose? If so, up it again and give it a day in your system. Upping a dose right after lowering the dose will through the levels off in your system.

    Stalls are normal... could this be a history set point for you?

    The dosage has nothing to do with the weight loss stopping. YOu would have hit that stall anyway. It's typical. You just need to get your dose right so you have no hunger and are losing the right kind of fat!

    I'm posting my weights to show you my stall that happened from vlcd11-vlcd17....then all of the sudden, the weight was just fall off of me! i ended up losing 20lbs preload in a 23 day cycle! i was thrilled! hopefully my weights encourage you to ride it out b/c my losses after my stall were big!


    Preload: 250
    Postload: 252.5
    VLCD1: 256.5 (this weight may not be right, it was taken at lunch)
    VLCD2: 251
    VLCD3: 248.5
    VLCD4: 246 -4 lbs preload -10.5 lbs postload
    VLCD5: 245.5
    VLCD6: 244.5 -1 (cheated that evening)
    VLCD7: 245 +.5 (cheating at lunch)

    Janeen,

    I just got out of a 6 day stall. The only thing i did was skip the second fruit which in my case was an apple. It helped me the next morning i was down 1.6. You might want to try this before trying the apple day :-)

    Well, I'm glad to hear that my dosage tweaking didn't cause this! It actually is not easy to tweak the nasal spray. Each spray is 125 IU, so my choices are basically 125, 250, 375, etc. I can't tweak it more precisely than that.
