I ate small Red Delicious "Snacking" apples for the first week of Phase 2 but they weren't very satisfying. I've since switched to medium sized Red Delicious. Does size matter when it comes to fruit, particularly apples?

You know we just ate an apple every day. Some were big, some were little. Our favorite were Pink Lady. Never had any problems. (husb or I) Usually ate 1/2 and put other half in a salad.

It matters when your hungry!! I always ate the Biggest apple I could find, but it was so big I ate 1/2 for breakfast and the other 1/2 for a 3:00pm snack.

I did the same as Darths_lady. If they were HUGE, I ate half in the morning, the other half at night. I don't think I was ever "satisfied" on P2 anyways - just bored with eating and you shouldn't be crazy hungry on P2 to want to eat a basketball size apple, and if you are, you'd have dosing issues. However, the first week of P2 messes with your head and body so just stick it out, it does get better. Medium-large size apples are ok in P2. Just keep it to no more than 2 if you choose to eat fruit.

I was eating 2 large apples per day and stalled....... Not 100% sure it was the apples but I cut back to one and the scale started moving again. So, going forward I'm going to limit my apples to 1/day.
