I heard the same thing...that people lose a lot of pounds in P2 and more inches in P3, it's called "reshaping", I think. You can't be losing only water weight. For instance, I am on VCLD16, and I've lost 15.2 pounds. I'm only measuring my waist, but I've lost almost 2 inches from there. I would have expected more, because that's where I carry all my weight. But I know it's not possible to lose 15.2 pounds of water...I'd be severely dehydrated.
Hi - I went to get measurements done last night. I'm on R1P2VLCD34 - I've lost 19.8 lbs already - and only 4.5 inches all over. Most of those inches came from my thighs (THANK YOU LORD!) and my waist. My waist has always been the smallest thing on me - and I've lost almost 2 inches there - it's weird where you loose it. My abs took the rest of the 'hit' - so basically it has been my experience - that mostly the inches came from places I wanted them too. I'm going into P3 in 9 days....I'm hoping to loose more inches in the un-wanted areas while there :)
I feel you, Sitori... I've stalled since last week saturday with that last cheat i had (went up to 151 and stalled there all week, then got TOM on Friday) <--that was a relief because I figured that attributed to my stall all that week. But it's Tuesday, and I've only since gone down to 149. The scale teeters between 150 and 149, now, but i'm trying not to get bummed out over my slow losses (R1P1VLCD26 15 lbs lost).
Although, everyone at work is still saying that i'm loosing weight, but i'm sure 15 lbs in under a month is quite noticable. I was just also hoping to finish this in one round... I only have about 10 or so more lbs to go. I don't know what's up with that stall, but I started my drops again today and am drinking this detox tea (the rave in the hhcg lounge, page 67 or so).... So, i'm hoping that will help kickstart things back into loosing.
I also thought that since this was a weight that i've been most of my life, it's probably stalling here because it's a weight that my body's been so use too.
I enjoyed reading these posts as I have just started Phase 2 of my first round and have doubts about success with losing the weight...water vs. muscle vs. fat.
I have never been skinny but always athletic. However, over the last year I got large without knowing it. Then, I spent the last two months working out like crazy and monitoring everything I ate...and I gained 5 pounds. Talk about depressing....
The real reason I am posting here is that I am an English teacher and wanted to give a lesson on the spelling of a word (hopefully without being insulting...:)).
"Losing" weight is a good thing.
"Loosing" is not a word....you would say "loosening."
Trust me that I don't mean this in any way but good naturedly. "Lose" and "loose" are two of the most commonly mistaken words in the English language.
I had body scan's run before and after each round (currently on round 3)... and I can tell you that very little muscle mass is lost, if any. I am also athletic so my muscle mass is above average for a female my age...and after losing 61.5 pounds it is still in the above average column on the charts.
Thanks for the English lesson... I often see mistakes on the forum but just remind myself that English isn't the first/primary language for some members.
